If you're going to try it? There is an insulator & a ting Oring that needs to be removed. It's easy to just take it apart, then put every thing back on when it cooled down 
Steamer861, that's the Exocet. Huge difference! As that one you have lots of room to slide up without leaking. Not true for the SXK rba. This one is brand new and I just removed it from a brand new SXK BB. I haven't done anything with it. I just removed the AFC ring so you can see.You can see in the pic the blob has raised the exocet & gave me that extra meat I needed up top to make a solid connection
As you can see, it is right on the edge of the collar. Move it up just a hair and no more o-ring on the collar. Oh I put the arrow on the wrong black ring. It's the outer black ring. Geez... I am looking at this overall length. This one is worse than the other one. The chimney doesn't even clear the top of the tank.
Yes, but I have lots of other choices like my Crossbow, Insider, Exocet, EUC heads, etc. Why mess around with a SXK RBA? As it needs a total makeover to get it to work well.
On mine I replaced the o-ring with one that came with a China Taifun for drip tip on the key. While both appeared to be 5 x 1.5 mm the one for the Taifun was just barely noticeably smaller. Hasn't turned the tube removing the key since.

For the last 3 days (today is 4) I have been going to take my Drone to work as the main squeeze. Each time I left it, maybe tonight it will go. I'm having a hard time cozying up to it, not sure why. Maybe if I use it more it will grow on me.
The Crossbow I believe has a tighter airflow. But both can use those air restrictive inserts. Which by the way looks exactly like the ones for the K5. Hmm... I wonder.
