This has been reported several times over yonder, some say software bug, I say hardware. I'm only guessing though.
There is something about it happens only when the batteries are near full charge.
Weird! I have at least eight 250C mods and I've never seen this. But the first thing I do to a new one is to turn off the auto lock after X amount of time. If I want it locked, I'll lock it myself thank you very much. So have you heard if this avoids this problem? I also usually only charge my batteries to 4.10v too.

I to have several 250c's & this is the first time I see this!
There was a guy who mentioned to remove auto lock, but it was after the fact.
If John got involved it wasn't as easy as turning that off, hence the test firmware!
He must of found some thing to come out with the new specific for this issue Firmware?

I just did some checking on "The Mule" on Usenet, a 2160 version was posted but that as well as the one I got no longer download.
There are plenty more but I suspect they also no longer will come down.
I'm only about half way through the movie, maybe things will pick up but so far it hasn't done much to peak my interest.

My Drone finally made it to work last night, it most likely won't make it back again. While it works as it should it's just too bulky to carry in my front pants pocket. I have been known to run that pocket into things like door jams, ect. So far I've never broken anything, I certainly don't want to damage the Drone.

Windows 7 message alerts users to the end of security updates
If you didn't know you had until January 2020, you do now.
Anyone else getting "excited" about this? A free upgrade to Windows 10 is still doable, check around for that, Youtube, ect.

Cross posting from the Orion thread in case anyone missed it......

This guy has figured out how to build a ship in a bottle. In the video, he demonstrates a method of rebuilding the Lost Vape Orion Q pod (coil and wick). It would also work on the DNA Go pods, although I have to look into coil calculations in more detail. As noted in a previous message in this thread, the DNA Go board has a narrow optimal range of coil resistance.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread, it has been a fun read and I gained a lot of insight into the Orion and the DNA Go board.

I'm in the process of downgrading from Win7 to Windooohs10 because a piece of software I use will no longer run under Win7. I call it Windoohs10 in honor of Homer Simpson, "dooh". Keep in mind that you no longer "own" Windoohs10. Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom(?), aka business model to milk things, now calls it a service, so when you use Windoohs10 you are being "serviced". In addition they're trying to make it more like a phone/tablet, Android/IoS, with touch features. If I want that crap I'll use my phone or tablet! Who wants finger prints and streaks all over a nice 27" 4K monitor?

I'll let you know how the "free" upgrade goes. My Win7 is an OEM version I bought for this big desktop. I'm not sure if I can "upgrade(?)" for free or not, because it's an OEM version, but will find out later today or tomorrow. I'm doing a clean install of Win7 on an M.2 drive and will try the upgrade from that while maintaining the original Win7 install on a platter drive until I'm sure Windoohs10 actually registered with Microsoft assuming it upgrades properly.

I'm sure gonna miss Win7.

I was just looking at how one starts the process. Write down your Win7 key, disable or uninstall the antivirus. Run setup from within Windows, no need to boot disc. Enterprise Edition is not workable.
Download Windows 10
Windows 10 build 10240 takes a bit more to do.

I used the media creation tool, downloaded the ISO, extracted the files and made a bootable DVD. I know about running setup from within Win7. That's why I want a clean install. I want to start with a totally clean Win7 install, no other software installed, and re-build as I need the software. I've got everything I use downloaded to an archive drive already so installations of what I need should go pretty quickly once I get Windoohs10 up and running.

How long have you been using Linux? I have used it at least back to 2007. And I really don't care for it much. Updating your browser or other application is a PIA. Need to change something? Now you need to type in long series of pages of commands. Like first you need to take permission to make changes. And that is just the beginning. And in the end, what can you do? Well do email, browse the Internet, and use Open Office and that is about it. I find it way too limiting for my needs. But for basic things, it is ok. But so is Android, iOS, etc.

Yup, best way to do it. Far less problems that way.

I have been using Linux for around four months, I have not run into the difficulty and limitations that you have detailed. I no longer have a need for a sophisticated accounting program, if I did, I probably would feel different. It does every thing that I need that being legal research, light duty billing through PayPal, email communication, eScribe for the DNA, mess around with photographs with GIMP, spreadsheets and gab on this forum. It meets my needs. Others may differ but, for me, it works.

EDIT: I went back to look and I have used Linux since August of 2018. I bought a refurbished Dell and dual booted Win 7 and Linux. I have a Surface Pro with Win 10 (I hate Win 10).
