Yeah well it might work with CSV files because they are using all text based characters. But ECIG files are more than text based and Notepad will filter stuff out. And saving it from Notepad just deletes stuff from the file and corrupts it.

Did I mention how much I am enjoying these coils? They are fabulous. Say are either of you running them in TC? As I tried with the stock SS TFR and it just kicks out to power mode. I figure they are probably using nickel legs on the coils. And I figure I'd ask if one of you already have a file for these before I roll up my sleeves and create one.Hey @TrollDragon

BillW50 If ya want, I just created a file over yonder for another fella based on the default evolv 316. He said it was off by 70F. Or, the TCR used within escribe (custom material) was TCR of 0.001090909 <- This is default +70. That's truncated, but higher than normal. If ya want it, I can send it to ya over there, or just try the above.

Well, I'm now running Windoohs 10 on an M.2 drive on my "main" desktop. What a PITA getting it installed, cloned, booting and now getting all the "gotta have" software installed. Add in the fact that the whole control system, computer management items, is different and I'm getting ulcerated. Surprisingly, it used the license from th OEM Win7 with no problems I will say boot time is hardly even noticeable. From a cold start to Windoohs 10 is under a minute, once it gets past the mobo logo screen while it loads the BIOS. Applications just pop on the screen. It's a PCIe M.2, not a SATA. I've had SATA SSDs previously, and they have failed on me (Samsung EVO850s), but this seems even faster. I just hope it doesn't crap out like the others have.
I did end up re-installing Win7 on a platter drive. I couldn't get the executable NVMe driver from Samsung to extract anything that was recognizable. All that comes out is a list of files named "U01" through "U40" with no extensions. There's no way to tell what's what with them to even rename them. SO I installed on a platter drive, installed the NVMe driver, downgraded to Windoohs 10 and migrated to the M.2.
I'll probably be spending a week or two getting the system fine tuned but it's up an running again, surveilling video and crunching Folding@Home. With Windoohs 10 I can load the video surveillance software as a service which lowers the CPU load by almost 10%.

I did try them in TC, standard 316L Evolv settings.It did work as far as not falling out of TC. I found the vape too anemic for Me
I'm running it in old fashion watts boost mode, it's ratted for 25 to 35 watts, I find it best at 35 watts with a second or so boost of around 50 watts. It helps with the ramp up time
I'm still on my very first coil I put in there, seems to holding up well

Exactly, .CSV's are just Comma Separated Value text data files. The .ECIG's are actually renamed Zip files, inside you will find a DEScribe.xml file.
Good to see you got it sorted, the forum won't take an .ECIG file as an attachment but it will take a .TXT file so it's just a matter or renaming it back to .ECIG.
Windows is set to hide file extensions by default, so if you go to rename the file you end up with "Stock Billet Box.ecig.txt" instead of a proper .ECIG file and that would fail to load in eScribe.

I didn't bother as I've never had much luck with ceramic coil heads in TC, I just run them in power. When I put another one in I'm going to use Steamers boost mode with it. I still have the WeeLeaf EC-Mesh in mine now, I run it at 45W providing excellent flavor/vapor with BB Vapes BLVK (Tobacco & Cream) juice.Did I mention how much I am enjoying these coils? For SS316L I run 2 profiles on my DNA's the stock Steam-Engine and Jaquith's UD V4.
