I never had that issue! A quick run thru the dish washer. All ways did the trick for my tubes and bottles. wonder what kind of juice your using. Bill?
$6.08 using E-Packet to NY. Unfortunately it won't support anything under .1 ohm in TC which is kind of odd seeing it's says it's set to use Ni200. But maybe a DNA board would fit? If not you wouldn't have that much invested and you'd have some spare parts, a battery adapter and squank parts.
Well... I went looking to see if anyone shows disassembly of these to see if a DNA board could be swapped, (doesn't look promising) and I found that but I also found these are junk as far as TC is concerned, TC is nonexistent and there also is no way to apply any firmware. Check out these videos, first is for the first version of the 213, the Fuchai 213 and the second video is for the later version of the 213. Note, not sure if he shows in the 1st video, didn't watch it all the way through but he does show in the 2nd video the USB port isn't connected to the processor on the board which you need to update firmware. (For this jump to the 4:47 timeline on the 2nd video.)

I have squonkers that I run the same juice in all the time so flavor carry over is never a problem for me. Bottles are cheap pick a few up specifically for the Coffee or god forbid Root Beer flavors.

I've never tried any other boards then Evolv's for TC, only other boards I've ever used prior was those that came in a few China clone mods and those got swapped out for DNA boards. I'd only be interested in picking up a cheap mod if I could swap the board our to a DNA, as long as Evolv keeps making boards they'll be the only boards I'll use. Evolv has our interest (safest vaping possible) at heart, fully support DIY mod builders and they go above and beyond if you have a problem, for me, there is no need to look any further.

I use the plastic tank with the small extension, 5 mils, nice capacity for a MTL atty
The K-F 2019 clones are notorious for leaking thru the 510 pin
Make sure you wrap the AFC screw with T tape! I don't mind the No Top Fill 
I think I can understand why people like squonkers. With these Merlin's I discovered when you unscrew the top to refill it creates a vacuum inside the tank, a good size bubble will appear at the juice flow port. So what I'll do if the flavor drops off at all, I'll unscrew the cap 3/4 a turn, watch the bubble rise then screw the top back on, it acts like a pump and pushes juice into the wick and the wick gets saturated, I'll repeat until the bubble stops showing. As soon as I do that I get a big flavor boost, sometimes I'll even need to drop the temp 5-10 deg. So doing that, it's not a lot different than squonking, tank squonking. 
Not really vape related but we chat about all kinds of stuff on this thread. Every once in a while you find a product that is just so handy you need to share. I use to shoot a lot of Bullseye pistol matches, this would have been perfect, why the hell didn't I think of this?
