That is great news, I'm sure many of us who had been long time smokers and now long time vaper's can testify how much better they feel, lungs, heart, all over our bodies. My lungs were a mess when I was actually forced to stop smoking for the final time, it's why I vape today. For me, it was vaping was going to work for me or I was going to die from smoking. I started vaping about a year after I was very, very ill with what they first thought was phenomena, ended up in the hospital. My lungs showed just solid masses on x-rays because they were so full of infection and fluid, I spent a week in the hospital on intravenous antibiotics. It took me all summer for my lungs to recoup enough that I could walk to the mail box and back without having to sit down, take a couple puffs from an inhaler and catch my breath. They told me my lungs would never fully recover, they said I had COPD and would have to live using inhaler's. After two years and having been vaping for 1 1/2 I went back for follow up scans of my lungs and another lung capacity test during a checkup with the doctor. He was really surprised how great my lungs were, my lungs were 100% clear and I could breath like I was 20 again. I told him I had been vaping and I had stopped using the inhalers for at least a year, that really surprised him. I feel great, well as far as my lungs, the rest of me is worn out, broken and missing pieces LoL.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I went to vaping because my sinuses were constantly clogged and I was waking myself up with my own snoring, not to mention keeping the Mrs up all night. On a recent hospital visit when they checked my BP they also check the oxygen level in your blood. I've been checked, regularly, every three weeks for the last year (not related to lung problems), and the lowest it's been is 97%. They also listen to my lungs and say that they are clear. I don't snore, very often, any more and my sinuses are clear all the time. I credit vaping for that and the Mrs for pushing a little to get me vaping instead of smoking.

The big problem with all this is, that reports like Willies' and mine, of which there are millions by now, are dismissed as "anecdotal". One or two, or even a few hundred reports like this may be anecdotal, but now the number is probably well into the tens of millions. Yet, here in the good old US of A, vaping is getting relegated to worse than tobacco use.

Well I got my last FT order today, the mini Merlin conversion kit fits perfect! I scraped that smoke coating off the glass with a razor knife, washed the parts and put it together, good excuse to rinse the atty out at the same time.
$3.94 Replacement Glass Tank + Top Cap for Augvape Merlin Mini RTA Atomizer - stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

How ever, that other brand of Ni200 clapton wire I ordered, Pilot Vape, not looking so good.
There are sections of the wire where the wraps have gaps, some gaps are huge and it looks like the threading on a wood screw. I want to get a couple good close up pics of the roll before I unroll it, I'm thinking of posting them on FT. It might be I got the last of a run off the machine and there is some usable parts but from what I can see it's not promising as a replacement for the other brand Bill and I were getting from FT.
$6.65 Authentic PilotVape Ni200 Nickel Coiled Heating Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers - 0.4mm*0.2mm*5m / 26/32 AWG at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Those sick :censored: at Microsoft! I disabled Windows Update Service (services.msc) a few days ago and they updated my favorite machine anyway. How did they do that, through a backdoor? It just sat and thrashed the drive for 8 hours with a blank screen and all I could do is toggle the keyboard lights on and off and nothing else.

Got tired of this nonsense and forced a reset and went into recovery options. Told it to undo the updates and reboot. It did and now after reboot, it is back to thrashing the drive for hours again. Sure I could restored it from a backup. But what good will that do since it will just sneak the update on once again and I'll be right back here. What should I do, block Microsoft servers from my machines?

And don't get me started about how bad Apple, Goggle and Linux updates are.

I got the tri-wing driver bits today and I got the coffee maker apart. The screws are all short screws thank goodness and the bit was almost not long enough to reach down into the hole. My goodness! Why do they need all of this stuff to make coffee? All you need is hot water and a shower head for Pete's sake!

I have updated both my Win 10 notebook and the one at work with no problems that I've seen so far. I was quite aware of the reported problems but did it anyway.
That's the thing with updates. It is like playing Russian Roulette. Most of the time nothing but a click sound and that is all. But one day, here comes that BANG! And by the way, many of my machines hasn't seen an update in over 10 years are doing just fine. I got a Windows XP SP2 machine running right now that is doing some streaming. I have it working about 10 hours a day. I've tried to replace it with an Android or iOS, but the Apps suck so bad they are not reliable enough.

Windows 10 Version 1903 running here since 10/10/2019. I'll have to put 1909 on as it's waiting in the update queue.
What do you have to do to stop Windows 10 from updating? Create a group policy or what? I don't want or need updates. Build 1903 breaks my 15 year old GlucoseOne software, btw. Four of my Windows 10 machines are still running build 1803. For how long, I dunno? They might become Linux machines if Microsoft doesn't behave. Then I'll use my Windows 7 and 8 machines for Windows stuff.

If you are running Pro then the easiest way is with a group policy to shut updates off.

I don't know if you can?? The computer pros here know more about that then me.

When I saw your post a couple hours ago I figured I better run the update on my little RCA notebook that runs Win 10, I want to use it in the shop tomorrow. It updated from 1903 to 1909 in just about two hours.

This little $130 RCA notebook I picked up three years ago has been the best value, the most bang for my buck in computers that I've ever spent. Heck, it's going to cost me just about $130 just for Win 10 software to update my desktop from Win 7 next month. The little guy runs great, smooth and surprisingly fast with Win 10, has blue tooth, HDMI to monitor port, front and rear camera's, touch screen, the lipo gives about 3 hours run time. All I've done is add a 128GB mini SD card and screen protector, got a nice screen/picture too, I sit on the porch and watch videos on it sometimes. In the shop I plug it into an old monitor that sits on my tool box, use a blue tooth mouse, works great. For a little back up or on the go notebook, these really are a good deal. And I popped the cover off this summer to check the lipo, because of the age, no swelling at all.

Have you ever considered an update to your meter, they are usually free.
https://professional.onetouch.com/software-and-apps/reveal-app
GlucoseOne is different than those glucose meter apps. It does things like inputting your reading and then telling you how much insulin you need. Plus it knows how much insulin you have already in your system and how much is left time-wise and adjusts your dosage accordingly. I could do this manually, but it is so much easier this way. And besides I am covered only for Accu-Chek Aviva strips. If I use anything else I have to pay like a buck a strip. :(

Right now, I can use GlucoseOne on any of my Windows machines and the data gets stored in the cloud. So it doesn't matter which machine I use since they use the same data. I suppose if worse comes to worse, I could use GlucoseOne on any Windows except Windows 10. But I probably won't use Windows 10 much if I went that route.

When I Googled GlucoseOne it basically pointed me to the One Touch site which was incorrect, understandable about being covered for one type of strip. I'd just keep a Win7 machine around for running old software.
