Anybody ever seen a 75C lose puff count? Running a Mirage with Frank's Theme. Reset the puff counter when I installed a new SS316L mesh coil in my FreeMax at 1PM. 4 hours later it said 164 puffs. Now 90 minutes later it says 132 puffs. I just added about 4ml to the tank. And I get 50 puffs per ml with this coil. So the count should be dang near 200.

I've never noticed that but I don't normally watch the puff count. I do have yet another 75C, from a recent batch, that is shutting itself off and starting to have a white screen syndrome. I'm really, really, getting tired of the 75C problems.

It's funny how we have the same issue's over & over, you with the 75c's & Me with the white screens!

I replaced my whole 250c with a brand new one, in my work mod & still lost another screen!
It's a good thing I bought 10 spare color screens last time! I have a feeling I'm going to need them !

I've got spare screens but the shutting down problem is really getting aggravating. This makes four out of five I've built so far. This one was the third rebuild of ones that did the same thing from that first run. There really isn't much to building them, for solder joints plus one for ground on the 510. The 250Cs have been chugging right along. Just the 75Cs are doing this to me.

Can you watch it happen while EScribe's device Monitor is connected? If so, is the battery level dropping low enough to shut it down? The graph screen (Frank's Theme calls it Trend) will show battery level too during the puff. Or does it shutdown just sitting? Thank goodness I have never seen the white screen thing. I have enough color screen mods that you would think it would show up by now.

They've all started the same way, shutting down prematurely when left sitting for a while. Then is progresses to the point where they shut down while in use, as in during a puff. Battery levels are never lower than 30% and it happens even with a fresh charge. These are dual 20700 mods, so current isn't a problem, especially considering power is under 20 watts. Escribe shows nothing, other than boom, no fireing, then turn it back on, rinse and repeat.

These are dual 20700 75C mods wired with parallel batteries? Or are they 250C wired in series? Also the C's can use boost. Do you use boost? And you can boost by wattage or by temperature (this is independent from power and TC modes). If applicable, which one do you use?

I started collecting data about puffs, ml going through a coil, etc. And before I started doing this, I would have guessed that one could get like 8000 puffs from a coil. Well after I started collecting the data, was that wrong! Like these single and triple mesh coils, if you can get up to 3000 puffs or 50ml worth of juice through it before its done, you are doing good. In fact the flavor peaks out at around 1000 puffs or about 20ml worth and then they start going downhill from there.

I only have one 75C, a VA Spade. Occasionally out of the blue it will ask if it's got a new coil installed. I never gave it much thought until I read the above posts, it is as if the board got rebooted I'm thinking. I have the auto lock box unchecked. I use it so little that I never remember if I locked it or not when I finish with it. I'm going to keep an eye on it to see now.

awsum140's problem is isolated! Just like my white screen mods are! Not all 75c's do it, as not all 250c's screens go white. I have 2 75c's & 2 other 250c mods, I made that work fine! My issues are with the same 2 3D printed 4S lipo mods, the rest of my c's are fine :)
Again what's funny is it's not the chip it self, cause I tried different 250c's in those mods.

They're 20700s in parallel. I'll have a look at the locked thing, but that doesn't explain the white screen problem at all. They're AlpineTech cases with a board sled and, of course, a ground lead for the 510. The ground leads are 14 gauge , silicon, to match the center in wire. Boost is set in watts and is very modest, as in 5 or 4 depending on if it's me or the Mrs. I use the stock themes since they work fine for me, tried a few others and just don't like them, too busy with stuff I don't really need.

I have a hard time attributing this to the cases, or builds. Especially considering the 250Cs are in similar AlpineTech cases, with sleds, with 4S LiPO packs.

Have you considered an other enclosure? I Never had even one issue , with my 75c's :)

This one, ABM-1-DNAC CNC Milled Aluminium Enclosure - Canada with this battery sled DIY Box Mod Parts - 1x 120700 3D Printed ABM-1 Battery Sled - Canada holds a 21700 :) it is a little boxy, but a solid metal box that will sit up to a 25mm atty nicely :) It's small & portable :)

This one fits a 20700 Silo DNA 75C billet aluminum DNA mod case with a 3D printed sled :) These have been sold out for quite some time :( I wished I would have bought a few more when I had a chance!

I have been running both these enclosures for a long time now! The silo is very nice but Sold out :( The ABM1 is more utilitarian & less stylish but still performs excellent! Also with the ABM1 if you choose external chip mount? You can remove the chip very easy, If some thing were to go wrong :)

    BTW the ABM1 & the sled +shipping into the States = 40 usd :)
