So the question came up before about when the juice falls below the wicks sticking out of the Xeta. I found that it can be vaped down to empty.
Now how will that work with an Aspire Triton coil? I will find out soon I guess, it would be simpler if I could use EScribe to help me figure it out but I can't in this case. I'm going to have to ruff it.

I vape my Triton Ni200 coils well below the juice holes all of the time. Yeah it is running in TC, but somehow it stays wet enough to keep vaping normally.

So I put in a 1 ohm Aspire Atlantic coil in my other SXK BB, the preheat with Kanthal deal didn't work. The slight increase in resistance from cold to hot was not there either. I had to up the wattage from 35 to 45 to get a similar vape compared to the Triton 4 ohm coil.

About the Aspire Atlantis 1 ohm coils, of all the A type coils that I bought I never tried the 1 ohm ones till yesterday. I do believe I like them better than any of the others.
I would like to try rebuilding one using twisted SS430, I'm unsure how the long leg will fare without welding some Nickle to it.

Sorry for the crappy picture but it will show what is going on here, never expected this.
The positive leg (red) is welded to the coil 4 wraps from the bottom making them unheated. The negative leg (blue) is welded onto the coil 1 wrap down from the top. This is an Aspire Triton .4 ohm coil.

I was wondering why these coils all looked about the same when looking at the coil from the top.
