I went to get some ice from my Amana fridge and it came out as slush. Oh-oh! I checked the temperature of the freezer and the fridge and things were warming up. Fan was running, but the compressor wasn't. I left it off for a few minutes and restarted. Just the fan ran.

Moved the food to cooler temperatures and I tried the fridge again after a few hours. This time the fan and compressor ran and the temperature is dropping. Not sure what is up yet.

Check the defrost timer, mechanical ones can be turned with a screw driver and electronic ones have a jumper point. Google yours for more info.

I should have waited another day before I contacted the Ebay seller asking "whats up", I was nice about it though. Seems USPS is taking short cuts with tracking.

If I can pry this Dovpo College out of my hand perhaps I'll take the K-1 to work tonight and weigh it at the grocery store on the way in.

BYW, I'm thinking that I just may like the College better than the Xvostick or at the very least the same.

Mine is OK on the buttons, it's the 510 positive pin on mine that's sticky.
Do you recall if it was free shipping for them, either way I wish that I had bought more than one.

The part on my K-1 that would be wood is zinc alloy and has considerable weight to it. If I could come up with an idea for that 510 socket I would rewire the whole mod.
Note that the output wire appears fatter, that's because it has an extra layer of insulation.

You gotta love the simplicity of the K1s. I bought a few as give aways to get people off stinkys, still have one in my vapocolypse stash. If they used a better 510 and heavier wire it would be pretty damn good. Even so, not a bad mod for the price we paid.

Nice! Good to see it's all TRVP'ed out with Albert's accessories.

I love the look and functionality of the new switch plate, not having to remove the whole plate to change buttons is a major plus. Too bad I don't have my BB anymore.
