According to the DNA60 datasheet:
I recommend using the silicone insulated wire.

"Specifically, these battery cells may have exposed metal positive and negative terminals that can short-circuit when they come into contact with metal objects, such as keys or loose change in a pocket. Once shorted, loose cells can overheat and experience thermal runaway, igniting the cell’s internal materials and forcibly expelling burning contents, resulting in fires, explosions, serious injuries and even death.

In addition, thermal runaway can occur in loose cells if consumers use them in inappropriate chargers that allow for charging beyond the cell’s specifications."

Low hanging fruit for the "wrap us in bubble wrap" crowd. I used to do subcontract work for a company that cleans up fire scenes and rebuilds. Candles and space heaters aren't in danger of being eliminated (yet) because they aren't low hanging fruit that they feel the masses would allow them to remove from the market, but I've seen a lot of damage by their misuse from potential Darwin award recipients.

I started having a lot of incompletes with Supernews so I decided to change news servers. Found what I thought was a good deal and went for it. I thought I was paying monthly but my charge was $89.95. I immediately canceled it, that's when I learned that my $90 got me just 3 month worth.

I really wouldn't have minded paying for 12 months at one time. Once I seen what they charged me I knew something was wrong as the numbers didn't add up.
I clicked too fast on my Paypal page I guess. It does work well and in April when it expires I will figure who I will use next.

That really doesn't add up. They charge $150 or so for the whole year, don't even have a plan that's $30 for a month.
I'm giving it up anyway. Streaming services have pretty much run over usenet, at least for what I'd use it for.

A typical price is around $10 per month paid by the month, cheaper paid by the year. Some a little more, some a little less. I have a ticket started with them, will find out soon what's up I hope. So far no money has changed hands, it's canceled, maybe I have the 3 free months going.

OK, I'm good now on what transpired. After canceling they posted the date that it expires. I was thinking that it said "April 10 2021" but it said April 10 2022.
They got their $89.95, I only canceled the reoccurring payment.
They answered my ticket and explained this:

" Hello,
Thank you very much for your patience. This special is billed every 15 months at the rate of $89.95. Normally, this price is for only 12 months of service, but with this special, you will be getting 15 months each billing cycle. This gives you 3 free months this year and each year thereafter, for the life of your account!"

So I have 15 month to figure out next time. I prefer to pay monthly even though it costs a little more.
Their service seems to work really well but so did Astraweb and SuperNews when I first got them.

Usenet vs streaming................apples to oranges (IMO)
