The Siegfried! Ordered on Dec 25 delivered today, 17 days total! Not bad for this time of year :)
First impressions? Very high build quality! Excellent packaging with ample spare parts! Quality you wouldn't expect from a $31 tank :)
The chamber & juice/Air Flow is vey much like an Aromamizer!
Effortless build & wicking :) It hit the ground running! working perfectly with great flavour & vapour production :) I chain vaped a whole tank! Wicks perfectly!

It's Big! Tall & Wide, probably a good thing with the juice consumstion from Mesh Tanks :) It's not taking long to say I could recommend this tank for anyone looking to try mesh :)

How does mesh in this tank compare to a large (3mm x 4/5 wrap) fussed TI clapton in an Aromozmier Plus?

It works just as well Mike :) No TC :( but so easy to build & wick! You can use less power & no big boost to ramp up :)
I converted my Plus's to mesh a month or so back, I don't see much if any difference in flavour or vapour production :)
You can just buy the Mesh deck's for your Plus's to try it, FT has them for just over $10!

Can you use the Ni80 mesh and get temp control?

I haven't tried that. I'm finding Kanthol is working the best for me. I had Ni80 strips produce a burnt taste in the mesh tanks, & have since abandoned them :(
I do have SS strips for the Plus's, but have yet to try them in TC.
I'm just a lot more careful I don't run them Dry!

Nichrome wire is an alloy composed of nickel and chromium, and may also contain other metals such as iron. ... Nichrome comes in a variety of “grades”, with ni80 (80% nickel and 20% chromium) being the most popular. Nichrome behaves very much like Kanthal, but has lower resistance and heats faster.
Copied and paste...

Unfortunately no. And for me, they have a weird awful metal taste to them if you try to dry burn them. I even dry burned some just using 2 watts and I still got the taste. Since they are 40% nickel, you probably shouldn't dry (burn) them anyway.

Vandy Vape has SS316L mesh spools (10mm wide). If they are wide enough, then you can just cut to size.

OK, if I jumped on the VV SS316, what number mesh are you guys using.

Or.... what are the pros/cons of 1500 thru 400. I see the resistance difference, but it isnt linear with the mesh size.

I'm not an expert, but I believe mesh 400 means 400 holes per inch. 80 would mean 80 holes per inch. And they say the thicker the juice, use the less holes per inch.

Mike, you can just get ready made SS mesh for the Plus Deck SKU 9726090 I'm new to the whole mesh seen so I have no experience with different SS mesh's that come in rolls :( What I can say is TC with any kind of SS has never worked well for Me with DNA's :(

I have had good luck with SS wire under TC. Even SS with nickel legs, like the Crown I SS316L .25Ω coils. You just have to find the correct TFR/TCR value. In this case it was TCR .00125.

Also the Reflex is using SS316L coils with TC too.

I never tried SS mesh, but I have spools of SS mesh 150 to 400. I need to rebuild some of my mesh tanks anyway and I could have a go with SS mesh under TC if you like.
