Great mod, except for fumble fingers like me. The reference mod is so lightweight it is top heavy and has a narrow base so fumble fingers like me knock it over all the time.

What's the battery look like, does it have screws or magnets to hold the back on?

For longevity it's hard to beat an all aluminum Enclosure! Plus that style battery door Can & Will be problematic long term!

You think so? Jai Haze had taken a ball peen hammer to one and it held up just fine. Dovpo learned how to build reliable doors after they failed with the Topside. For example, the Odin DNA250C has been around for over a year now and I haven't heard of one single door failure.

Screws and the wires are soldered to the ends of a Samsung 25R with a big chunk of heat shrink on each end.

I will mod mine to accept the 20700 tray & magnets like the Silo's.
Mine are at least 2 weeks out & I'l need some tiny screws, but when I have all that, I will mod mine & post pics
