I'm buying a nemesis clone and a Kick 2. On evolv's website it states that you need Imr batteries for the kick. I was wondering if the new Panasonic NCR18650B 18650 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion batteries would work. They are unprotected and I believe have a 10 amp limit. Any ideas if they will work?

Those are not 10A, their 6.8A which is below what the Kick requires, you'll want to look for the Panasonic NCR18650PD, their rated at 10A. RTD Vapor has them for $10.90 each.
For that price you might as well just get the AW IMR batteries also on RTD Vapor. Just my

I have read a ton of information about the kick 2. At first it seemed like a must, but now I'm on the fence about purchasing it. At home I'll be running a RDA micro coil and on the go ill be using my carto tank. The lowest ohm I use is .7 ish. I would greatly appreciate any experienced mech. mod user's advice on this matter. Should I save the $45?

I like the kick 2 for the fact I don't have to carry a ton of battery's to stay in my sweet spot. For the ease of only needing 2 battery's when I'm on the road it's worth the money to me.
I'm not sure how low in resistance the Kick will fire, but if it will work at your resistance settings it would be worth both the voltage regulation to stay constant and for the protective circuitry it offers against hard shorts.
I have not used any crazy .2 ohm stuff or blown clouds of epic proportions that I know of. But a micro coil at 15watts on a Vamo (which might actually be lower than 15) is pretty dang awesome. I'm running microcoil Evods at 1.2ohms all the way up to genesis at 2.6ohms and they have all performed very very nice.
not to derail this thread or anything, but I am ordering the same setup and since I am a newbie, am i to understand that I would not be able to use my AW IMR18650 button tops with this setup?
