Much to this effect I took to the Temperature Control craze quite fast. Now it may offer vaping at a much lower and "albeit" safer temp is still in its infancy when it comes to complete evidence as well. But with that said I'm enjoying profusely and things like this keep me hooked into the hobby. You already touched on part of my answer. If they find that there is some highly dangerous side effect, if the future of ecigs heads to where I need to black market my supplies, if ecigs and all just disappear - the answer is Yes I will quit vaping...
Buzz? What is this buzz thing you speak of?I like my morning buzz lol
I have a little 10mg just for coffee time with a dripper. Get that extra zing!

Coffee and nicotine do not give me a buzz, they just relieve the state of catatonia that I'd otherwise be in.![]()
Lol, I can relate to that, but I quit going around 77 or 78. Wish I'd never had a cigarette after that, either! They enable me to actually remember whatever I was just thinking about. No buzz since 1975, smoking at the skating rink and having to sit out skating until the spinning head got straight again.

42 years of stinkies, and 4 packs is my story too. A mini stroke was my motivation...it worked first time. I too started @ 24mg and am now on 3mg and playing around with 0mg. All this since Nov. 2014. A pretty quick journey.I don't plan to ever stop vaping. I have a lot of money tied up in this hobby of mine, and I enjoy it greatly.
I was a chain smoker and worked my way up to nearly 4 packs a day after 42 years of smoking. I started off vaping 24mg of nic and continued that for well over a year. I'm now down to 6mg and thinking of trying to go down to 3mg.
I consider vaping to be a great success in my ability to quit smoking. I tried many times to quit. It seemed like every time I tried to quit and failed I smoked more than I had before I tried...kind of like trying to make up for lost time smoking. I even tried hypnosis twice and acupuncture. Needless to say, nothing worked for me until I started vaping. It even took me 3 tries at vaping before it worked. Being a hard core chain smoker who quit by vaping speaks for itself at to how vaping can work for pretty much anyone.
Nowadays I can stand right next to a smoker and not crave a smoke. I don't enjoy the smell, but it doesn't bother me in the least either. I call that a win.![]()
I thought about buying a vapor shark but I just can't justify spending 200 dollars on a 40w. What's the deal? Is it really durable and reliable? You can get a 50w sigelei for less. I know vs uses an evolv chip.I flip flop between a Hcigar HB40 and a VS rDNA40 with a couple of RDAs coiled with ni200 while I'm home. Then for work I carry an Atlantis or VCT Mega cuz I'm too lazy to drip lol but sometimes I feel froggy enough to bring one along.
My story is a little different and a lot of vaperers I've met tell me to keep sharing it. I had a heart attack on Dec. 30, 2014. It was bad. 3 stents and 8 days in the hospital. I smoked for a week after getting out but only 4 cigs a day until I found a good place to get some gear. The worst part of this is I had a daughter born on Nov. 20. and she almost grew up without a father. 20 years of smoking and stress did this. I am not over weight nor do had I had any health issues prior. The doctors told me that the arteries around your heart harden with smoking and if they could have flexed more during times of stress, blood flow could have been sustained. Vaping may extend the years I have left with my family if too much damage isn't already done. I'm only 41.
I hope to God I don't have to get a bypass. My uncle and grandfather both had it done. It must be one of the worst things a human can go through. That is if you live through it. The operation is more common today with less complications but I still don't want to have someone fiddling with my heart. The stents were bad enough. I'm thankful for vaping otherwise I would have gone coldturkey. My goals in life now are to see my 5 month old get her diploma and have my 5 year old hand me a grandbaby.Happy that you're still with us, and with your new daughter too!! Any plans on the drawing board for a bypass? My stepfather had a major heart attack in March, and discovered that he needed a triple bypass, because of those cardiac arteries. By the time he was out of the hospital and we went to visit him in the rehab-care place, his color was pink and lively as it hadn't been for 20-30 yrs.

Protank 2 eh? I guess you just began lol. Not a bad choice. If you ever wanna upgrade tho tk box modes and sub tanks feel free to pm me. I'm no expert but am knowledgable. I'm glad your done smoking. Stay strong and let me know if you need anything. Luckily I only smoked for like 3 yearsWill I ever give up vaping? I smoked cigarettes for 45+ years...pack and a half a day. It has (as of today) been 5 weeks since I smoked a cigarette. It is unlikely that I could have done it without vaping. I enjoy it. I still have the social component associated with smoking without the toxins. Never give it up? I don't know about never, but it won't be for awhile. I've got a Protank 2 on order ; )
