can anyone provide tips for more precise measurements? I'm using the Breakthru calculator - which is awesome - and it provides great measurements in terms of ML's and drops. I've read that using drops is not an accurate method, so I refer to the ML's listed on the calculator. I'm trying to make tiny batches first, to make sure i like a flavor and get a good mix; however, the measurements I'm using are so tiny, like .14 and .27 for example.
the 3 Ml and 1 Ml pipettes I'm using only have measurement ticks for .5, 1.0, 1.5, etc...Trying to guestimate .14 or .27 is guesswork, at best.
Is there any way to obtain more exact measurement when trying to make small, test batches? I've heard the pipette pumps are better; however, they still include the same measurement ticks. What makes them better?
Also, I was guestimating a test batch, trying to obtain an 80pg/20vg mix, but the VG is so thick..I've heard that can be diluted with distilled water. How does that factor into the calculator?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
