I don't know if it's the case for anyone else, but that url took me to the 2nd page of the article. I then found a link to the beginning, but for some reason I can get it to work unless I just paste the url in the browser. Breaking the link wouldn't help without typing in the forum-censored word. I had the same problem with a reposting of the article on another site.

Typing in the title on Google and clicking on the resulting link worked for me. Or using the posted link and scrolling to the bottom to click on the button for going back to the front page.

I haven't read the article, yet.

«There is ample room within the portfolios of the CDC, the California Department of Health, the WHO and other respected health agencies to make life safer for both smokers and drug users. Their failure to champion tobacco harm reduction the way they have opiate harm reduction is a glaring violation of public trust.»
Yup, excellent article. Thanks.

NorthOfAtlanta, while very true BG (state & fed) is panicking over reduced cigarette revenues, I do believe that pharma is equally concerned not just that their NRT'S are taking a hit but the really big expensive stuff to treat COPD, asthma, heart disease, etc. After all, in general our health improves a bunch after vaping and doctor visits to obtain the required drugs goes way down.

Presently, there are 416,000 per year deaths attributed to smoking. What happens to all that expensive "end of life" treatments and care if it's not needed.......until much later?
