My Phiniac tank/smoktech 1.5 carto/provari combo has been rocking for me for a couple of years, but I guess I'm getting wanderlust. Those last few days of a carto, deciding whether you're going to punch and fill another one or hang on through the blech, are beginning to wear on me.

I decided to pick up a P22 knockoff and a kick to go with a fogger V3. I'm looking forward to fiddling around with wicks and wiring, watched a few videos with wrapping tips so I think I'm good to go. I went with the fogger V3 after reading some favourable reviews and the 6ml size. Can any builders tell me how many days or mls they're getting from a wrap and any tips to pass along? Cheers.

Honestly it all depends on your setup and how much you vape, I have an AGA-T2 with a dual coil triple wrap in 24G sitting at .8 ohms and it can last me all day(9-11 hr work day) but it is on fumes by the time I get home. My Cobra(3.5ML) has a single coil triple wrap in twisted(2 wire) 30G sitting at 1 ohm and it lasts about 3/4 day. My drippers are both .4 ohm single coil 2/3 wrap on 24G and average 4 drops to a hit. With a 5+mil tank you should definitely be alright for all day and then some as low as .6 but there are a lot more factors such as surface area, wick material, how hard or full your pull is, ect.

I like to use microcoils with cotton wicks (kayfuns, genny's, drippers). I find I can go about 2 tanks on a kayfun or genny before changing the wick (and dry burning, but not replacing, the coil) - so, about 8 - 10 mls. The coils themselves have longer life, but vary more on lifespan - some last 1 1/2 months, others need rebuilding after 2 weeks (daily use).

You will, of course, get a fair few people telling you to replace the wick every day and the coils every week. I'm just not that compelled.

I have the Fogger V3. It is a decent RBA but I don't like that you cannot control the juice flow. You have to setup your wick with that in mind... also the airflow is lacking severely... other than that it is decent. I haven't used it in a while since the airflow is severely restricted...

You can always keep the same coil going for quite a long time. I clean my coils by dry firing, dropping a drop or 2 of water, dry burn again, gently wipe off coil with a paper towel or cloth. Repeat as many times as needed to remove gunk. I use organic cotton as well which makes the coil last a lot longer since I can just pull it out and replace as many times as needed.

I think it's mostly going to come down to the type of juice you are using.
Lets say best case scenario, light colored juice, 50/50 blend, not heavily sweetened, like a smooth tobacco or light fruity vape, I have run my coils for several weeks. A few have gone over 1.5 months. Only were changed to try something new, not because it was necessary. Now, the wick under those conditions? Lets say, cotton. Maybe a week of all day use. Possibly a bit longer. This is with dry burning the coil at wick changing.

Now worst case, heavy bakery vape, lots of sweetener, high level of cinnamon, thicker dark blend. Maybe a tank or 2 before the coil starts building up carbon and vapor production/taste start to suffer. Need to dry burn coil and change wick almost daily. Remember, this is your sweetest, heaviest nastiest juice which would most likely clog up a carto in no time flat.

What you need to get are some Sony 30s. When you play with rebuildables is all about batteries. Get the sonys they are the best. Also IMHO you very well may not like to fogger, I like it a lot it's built great solid looks awesome, buy lots of people can't ever get them working right, many people throw them in the trash out the window etc, read some of the fogger threads, I started on your help people who couldn't get it and many still hate them. What in saying is is a difficult atty to begin with. I'd recommend a kayfun style atty to start with or a genny and run cotton, it's the best and you'll never have to mess with ss mesh or cable either. The pulse g genny from fasttech is without a doubt my favorite. Good luck welcome to the fun side.

The coil in your fogger will last over a month probably the thicker the wire the longer, to some degree. A cotton wick, I change it every 2 or the tanks
