Well guys I've been saving for months to fund a Reo Grand. And guess what. I have finally got the cost of the mod, a reomizer and some other necessities covered. Excited doesn't even cover how I'm feeling. I have never been able to allow myself to purchase something of this quality until now. Right now. This exact moment...oh...no!!! The website is closed. What? Okay. So excited has went to...well still pretty darned excited but extremely impatient. Can any of you good folks tell me when the site will be back up and running. And please tell me what you love about your Reo. Please give me some more things to look forward to.

Welcome to the forum, cctinnin.

You're going to absolutely love vaping a reo - total game changer. You should really get your post numbers up to be able to post in the reo subforum, the very best place to learn tips on setting up and using the little beauties as well as chew the fat with other reovillagers. Looking forward to seeing you in there.

Per the above, Rob's site will be down until Oct 2, but PM'ing him (redeyedancer) will get you your first (and I do mean 'first') under way.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I sure have came to the right place. I look forward to becoming part of the group and learning from each and every one of you. I love that you all take such pride in your devices. I feel as though I have just kind of been wondering around trying to find my ideal setup until now. I have played around with all sorts of different setups and devices and just haven't been happy. I acquired a vmod xl several months ago and i have really found my place with a bottom fed device. The vmod itself is just a fine mod, but without even owning one yet. I know my heart belongs to a Reo and it's not fair to the vmod to lead her on any longer. It's time to make a clean break.

Currently, I have a black wrinkle LP Grand and SL LP TRA Grand. They both are topped with an Odin RDA by Loki Lab.

You might consider getting an extra lower spring w/screw, button cover, extra feeding tube, and perhaps an extra 6ml bottle and some o-rings for the bottle cap. The Grand does come with an extra bottle though.

I do believe I have decided on a low profile grand. I would love to be able to look and see what was actually available. You never know. I might change my mind for a different model. Which one or rather ones do you own. And Do any of you have recommendations for me as to what to purchase with this.

Well, there's no such thing as a bad model, but the LP grand is prolly the most capable and versatile. It's 18650 size gets you the largest battery life as well as use of the highest amp rated bats. Not sure if you like to subohm, but that can be a factor. AW 18650 1600 mah or Sony VTC4 or 5 bats are the current darlings. The LP catch cup lets you use any bf atty you like. Rob has 6 or 7 of them, other popular atties like the Magma, Cyclone, or Odin are available from other vendors. Pretty much every reonaut has at least one RM2 in their arsenal.

The mini 2.1 is literally a scale model of the grand - great for pocketing and still very capable (also available in LP), but with a smaller 18500 battery size and 3 ml juice bottle. Some folks love them for the size, not that the grand is big ("I had no idea the grand was so small", is a common comment).

As far as finish, there are many colours available plus some textured paint finishes. You'll have to form you own opinion there, but I will say that I'm partial to the tumbled raw aluminum (TRA), black wrinkle, and hammertone finishes.

More exotic models, like the VV Grand or any of the woodvils are either special releases or discontinued, but do show up for sale in the classifieds (and are snapped up quickly - 2 minutes for one just yesterday).

Good morning everyone. After some much needed rest I think I'm ready to get this ball rolling. As you all stated before. I need to get in touch with the man himself and he could get me going. Now I don't exactly know how to go about this. I don't know what his user name is and Being new I really have no idea how to even send a pm on here. Sorry for my total ignorance.
