Wondering if the exhaled vape would have much nic. left in it to be breathed in by kids or pets in the same room? It seems to stay right in the same area as you are vaping and dissapated quickly. Sorry if this has been asked but have been going for days reading and keep getting distracked by reading on other things. Lots of good info here Thanks all!

Also see the IVAQS study at ivaqs.net .

Per the CASAA folks, only way to get nic from exhaled vapor is in a "liplock" w/the vaper. They have now funded a study to put all the results together of the studies done thus far. See the CASAA sub-forum and CASAA - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association for all relevant information that's fact and not guesswork. :)

Remember, it's the amount of what's in liquid or vapor, not necessarily just what's there. For example, tiny trace amounts of formaldehyde were found in one study of exhaled vapor. Thing is, all humans emit trace amounts of formaldehyde, smoker or non-smoker, as it is. Like nicotine, not harmful in the amounts we use for vaping, or smoking for that matter (unless you have heart issues or perhaps if pregnant, but that's case-by-case w/your own doctor to determine). But nicotine in high doses would definitely be dangerous, as would straight caffeine in high doses. Even water can be overdosed. So when someone says there's X in the liquid/vapor, ask how much, and find out how that compares to other sources of that particle in daily life. That will put things in perspective and explain why vaping, and even snus, is >99% less harmful than smoking.

Maybe I should expand on my previous answer, given the question posed by the original poster...

People in your vicinity would be LUCKY to get some nicotine from what you exhale.
Unfortunately for them, they don't really get any of any consequence.

But if they did, they would possibly experience various benefits as have been documented scientifically...
--Increased memory
--Increased attention
--Increased reaction time

Sort of like caffeine, for the most part.
