Did anyone else experience exhaustion after switching from analogs to vaping? Sunday makes 3 weeks since my last analog and I am so tired all the time! Its not just normal tired either, its impossible to keep my eyes open tired. I've googled and it talks about your body doing this from lack of nicotine but I'm still getting nicotine.

Its not super common from tobacco cessation, but it *can* cause sleepiness in some. Something about its contributions to blood sugar levels (or insulin production?) I have never read the full study, but I think its linked in that ECF article ^^

(ETA - if this is scaring you or interfering with your life in any way - ALWAYS go see the doc :) )

U could have a simple problem like thyroid, testosterone, sleep apnea, or a million other things not related to vaping...I never heard of vaping causing someone to be tired ..or quitting analogs to cause someone to be tired..

Just to clarify I don't account vaping to the exhaustion at all. I love vaping! Its been great! :)

son, that there exhaustion is just a result of the pure unadulterated excitement you had by falling into the big, wide world of vape!! yessirree bob, so many things to choose from: tanks, batteries, juices. the endless possibilities can plum tucker you out if'n you're not careful. now you pick yourself up out of them doldrums an get back on that horse and vape! vape i say! vape until the cows come home!

and tell 'em Craybee sent ya.

I'm on my day 10 and I'm feeling the opposite. I've found myself really really wired. Definitely not tired. But I'm using 24 MG nicotine and vaping it heavily. You might go see a doc. I actually feel younger, I can breathe better and have lots of energey! I do know every body is different and yours might be adjusting differently. Are you drinking lots of water? That might help and maybe some vitamins?

24mg I have dealt with depression my entire life but I'm not having much of that right now just the exhaustion.

Some similarities here jamie.

f.w.i.w. some people attribute some symptoms entirely to quitting smoking. If I get "unusual" symptoms, I go and see my Doctor. It's (too) easy for us, here in the UK. Don't get me wrong, there are many things one can attribute to quitting smoking, of course, and all help/advice is useful. I have been cutting back on my nicotine over the months and have definitely noticed a drop in mood.
I found nicotine (smoking) a useful tool in keeping my mood up. I have a theory that as my mood drops and the clouds descend (metaphorically) then mild depression can follow, and that, for me, increase my tiredness or awareness of tiredness.

Be strong, hang in there. Overall, I'm WAY better these days. Vaping is very positive i.m.o.

I felt tired when I first started vaping but it eventually went away. I can't remember how long it took but I know it was 2 weeks at least. It coulda been more I'm just not sure.

Helpful comment. Yes, did have some tiredness (quitting smoking) then went on a good roll for well over a year.
It has been since coming down on the strength that I have noticed some return...

I collapsed on the ice playing hockey. Managed to get home against my teams advice and woke up 17 hours later with hospital or an ambulance choice from the wife. Collapsed from dehydration but Doctors have me doing every test known to mankind now. Vaped a 24mg 30ml of Rootbeer in a little over a day. But the Rootbeer was sooooooooooooo gggoooooddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

30ml?? in one day??? Jesus :censored: Christ!!!! have you no control? i can't even begin to fathom how someone can vape all that in one day. and at that strength level. i'm certainly glad the news media didn't get ahold of the results of your little vaping marathon.

ooh and what brand of Rootbeer was that? i may wanna try some myself if it was that good.

Lol that's hilarious! I did stay up all night the first couple of nights "researching" all of the possibilities! By the second night I already had upgrades picked out ;)
