I spoke too soon...today my package tracking has reverted backwards to Origin Post is Preparing Shipment ..something is definitely wrong ..that's the status of a package still in Singapore or Hong Kong and NOT dispatched yet or been through China customs....and possibly sent back to FT and they are going to try and resend it thru Hong Kong Post this time instead of SG Post again..contrary to what FT customer service has told me, who had also previously confirmed to me that it had been dispatched to the US via SG Post and then DHL with a DHL tracking #....

I doubt any fasttech shipments heading for the USA ever go to Singapore. Singapore is 1600 miles from Hong Kong. Signapore Post has an operation in Hong Kong.

Singapore Post is temporarily unavailable

Dear valued customers,

Singapore Post had proven to be a reliable carrier for many months and FastTech was pleased to be able to offer it as an option to all customers.

Unfortunately, they have caused FastTech a lot of grief in the recent week -- mostly due to the way their management works, as exposed by the recent postal union's battery "crackdown". Without going into lengthy details, Singapore Post's management has told FastTech that products with built-in batteries can be shipped but their frontline staffs often reject these packages claiming it's an order from the management, causing unnecessary delays to packages.

Hong Kong Post, on the other hand, has almost returned to normal operations.

For the interest of customers, FastTech is temporarily taking the Singapore Post shipping offline until a clearer policy and more professional practice is received from them.

If your order is pending to be shipped via Singapore Post, it will either continue to ship via Singapore Post, or it will be re-routed to Hong Kong Post. Again, Hong Kong Post's service performance is improving everyday and is almost back to the pre-crackdown state.

We apologize for this inconvenience. We will continue communicating with Singapore Post and we will restore this shipping option as soon as their current issues are resolved.

Thank you.

FastTech Team

Sounds like batteries are still getting through then, hmm....

Mine is not just batteries, an iTaste vv v3.0, but still has a battery, will be here tomorrow. My order from the 10th is still in acceptance, has an EVOD kit, go figure. I only order NON Battery stuff now until they get this figured out.

Batteries are not getting through, not even ego batteries, for most people...mine have been rejected and returned twice now by SG Post, and I just learned of this today via a FT ticket that I placed 6 days ago and just now finally got a ticket reply...and they are not offering me a refund or a store credit but have taken it upon themselves twice now and are attempting to send my order again for a 3rd time using the same shipper, SG post...their customer service really botched this whole thing up..least they could have emailed me the previous 2 rejections and gave me a choice of a store credit or a refund...I have lost all faith in FT...this will be my last dealings with them ever again....I'll gladly pay more and deal with people that know what they are doing and have the common courtesy to email me of any problems or choices I may wish to pursue.. wondering how stupid can a company be to keep resending an order through the same shipper SG Post for a 3rd time after its been rejected twice for 2 simple little ego batteries....and not telling me for almost a month..

FastTech has to figure out how exporters use those container ships. Obviously, it's more complex and requires personnel that has unique skills. But, I would feel more comfortable ordering from them if they stopped playing this game. I would start ordering batteries from them again if I knew things would go smoothly. It doesn't have to be quick. Just less uncertainty.

After receiving wrong info from FT customer service regarding my order being rejected, returned , and reshipped twice, yesterday I received in my mailbox my order of ego batteries and a few other small things..my order was NEVER rejected, and reshipped twice as I was advised by FT customer service...Singapore Post tracking was basically non existent during this whole ordeal from start to delivery.. even after delivery to my mailbox I was told by FT Customer service that my order was still in Hong Kong being prepared for shipment, contrary to finding it in my mailbox yesterday...and also Quantium.com tracking and Singpost.com tracking shows my order is still in China, even after delivery to my home ... I did learn that www.17track.net is the best tracker of them all and the most accurate, but not quick to update and missed alot of stops, like customs and SF and other places...I received no updates from USPS until AFTER the delivery was made....I received no SG Post tracking updates except for "Information received"....the only 17 track.net update I received before final delivery was "Destination Overseas US" which FT customer service advised me wrongfully that it meant it was still in China being prepared and needed to be Xray/screened still before departure from China...when U see Destination Overseas that's when U will know that its left China and is on it way to the US, and then U can expect another 7-8 days to your home, which is fine but do not expect any more tracking info after that....after the order was delivered to my door , then finally the www.17track.net finally updated thoroughly....so if U use Singapore Post shipping do NOT expect any updates from anybody until it hits your mailbox...and FT Customer service had no idea where my order was at any time, even after it was delivered to me, except to give me wrongful replies stating it was rejected, returned, and reshipped twice, to my open ticket and on their forums.. FT customer service is just making up stock scripted answers to open tickets and really aren't bilingual and definitely not informed by upper management of what was going on..here's how my tracking finally appeared and updated from 17track.net once my package was delivered..overall the shipping was just 21 days, but the tracking was non existent and FT customer service was just making up answers to questions , to appease me and all other customers asking where their order may be at..its really a mess over there at FT now, and many orders cannot be found and FT has no clue where they are and is not helpful, except for a couple FT Forums a staff members Geek and Sulfie who really are trying to help everybody...(Forums and customer service are separate places), .I was very fortunate to have received this, but the lack of tracking and wrongful info from FT customer service was making things much more complicated than it should have been..

My order placed on September 2 finally arrived! My order of four 18650s were on the included invoice but not in the shipment. Not sure if these were removed during transit or returned to FT and removed. No response on ticket as of yet. For all I know, they are being shipped by a different method.

Good news! I believe FT staff is still screening all packages they sent to the post, after being recalled, and doing the same to every each of them and then reshipping. A massive task. This means my orders will arrive here by Christmas, I guess.

Its just going to get worse..read this news release today from HK Post.... Hongkong Post - Notices - Posting Outbound Air Mail

Now that bites

I was expecting things to get better not worse. I have a lot of things on my list I have been waiting to order that have/are batteries. Well guess I'll just have to get the things without batteries that I can order batteries stateside to put into them. They need a shipping option for "Slow Boat" instead of air so we can order batteries.
