BAHAHAHA! Sorry...just had to poke fun at ya Semi...:p

That's cool - just remember pay back comes when you least expect it.

Hey I have been wanting to ask - What kind of Bass Guitar do you play? I played rythm when I was young, but never got the hang of it - fat fingers (lol)...

I used to play an ESP, a MusicMan, a Fender Jazz, a Dean Fretless, and a custom one off that I'm trying to sell now. Got out of the music bidness since then...:p

I bought my provari as a gift to myself for making it one year smoke free (at the end of the month) I honestly didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do I really like HV the only regret I have with the purchase is it makes my 3.7 unregulated PVs feel wimpy now.

No matter your income, smoking is an expensive hobby, aside from the health aspects. How much did you smoke? Someone said this well back on page 3 or so (kabonk?). Add up how much you spend on smoking. All mods are cheap compared to that. Can't afford it all at once? That's understandable. Get a cheap something/anything that works, if you can quit smoking. Physically lay that extra cig money aside. In a few months you can afford any mod you want.

It isnt that I cant afford it, I am from the UK where cigs are $9 a pack!! I just hate that feeling when you open a package and feel that you have been had, and I dont think there are many vapours who have not experienced that feeling!! I do feel that the 'boutique' modders probably charge about the right price (sabour touch etc) it is the ones that churn out rubish and market it as something amazing and then when it arrives it is utter rubbish. It is the ones that have just copied someone elses ideas and produced it cheaply and then sell it on at an overinflated price. However this thread has at least got people talking about it, even though some people have been quite rude to me for simply voicing my opinion, I though that this was what the forum was for, not simply a sales tool for vendors!!

That's why research and the New Members Forum is so important. Before I bought I spent over 200 hours researching both in this forum and elsewhere. It's also important that ECF retain the high standards that are required of the Suppliers that are listed here.

That's because they ARE wimpy, lol. It always amazes me to see someone who vapes a small battery model using 4mg nic strength liquid explaining to some noob how to get great throat hit. (just use a little more PG and the throat hit will be fantastic)

The mod I have in mind should be portable, battery life with at least two days and can be hidden in your closed hand with only the tube sticking out; easy to fill by simply pushing a button, ie, a standard 10ml liquid housed inside; tube that houses the atomizer and cartridge is telescopic or could be pushed back inside when kept in your pocket, things like that.

It could be smaller than a cellphone.

I won't go for shininess at this point. That may come later.

You know something about copyright, if you write it on the web/forum/chat lists and sign your name it is copyrighted. But it is still a vague area many times on forums. If EFC would say all post on ECF are copyrighted by the poster, then they are not public property but belong to the author. Yes anyone can read them, BUT to use them in any other form must get the posters permission. I have to do this with a list I own, the poster owns the post, no one else.

This was the second or third post in a row where the poster doesn't seem to understand that copyright and patents are different things with different purposes. Copyright, trademark, and patent law all fall under "intellectual property", but they aren't the same things, and you can't treat them like they as if anything that applies to one applies to the other.

In this case, you're saying "Anything you write is automatically covered by copyright, therefore if you post it on the boards, you automatically have a patent". That's a *long* way from the truth.

Yea, it is like a company I did some side work for. Their contract agreement the way it was worded said that they owned my works and my thoughts for the rest of my life since the beginning of my life. I made them reword it specifically to say that they held no rights to my individual intellectual property - they only owned what I produced and delivered that was specific for the project that they hired me for - they owned the results - not the how that was behind it. Without it in writing it means nothing...

I was a programmer who went through a similar situation. After interviews, background checks, etc, etc, they tried to get me to sign a form that essentially said that any idea I had, any software I developed, was theirs. In theory, it included anything I developed on my own time, using my own computers, even if it had nothing to do with their company in any way. I told them I couldn't sign that, and it turns out they had another form I could sign that had much more reasonable terms. I suspect they did that with everyone they hired - try to get everything, and if they say no, then give them the more reasonable form.

While working at that company, they tried to change some of their rules, and to get all of us to sign off. My *boss* told me "I won't sign it, and I don't think you should". I dont' think any of the programmers signed. A week or so later, they tried setting it up so that to get on the network we had to click on a "I agree to all your terms" thing. Without it, we couldn't hit the network, which essentially meant we couldn't do our jobs. My boss told me "I'm going to sit here and play Freecell and Minesweeper until they fix that. I won't click on the box". So we all essentially did nothing that day. The next day, they quit harassing us and we went back to work.

The high end mods are expensive because they are hand made in small quantities. If there was a 100-1,000 fold increase in demand for pro-varis, Darwins and Buzz Pro's, etc. they could be mass produced for a fraction of the current cost. That may very well happen.

In the meantime, I'm enjoying my Buzz-pros and don't regret the expense.

No. It doesn't have to be tube-shaped. More like those box types where the battery and liquid bottle sit next to each other. The 10ml liquid bottle's opening could be attached to a small pipe leading to the cartridge for easy re-filling. Something like that.
