expired cotton balls?

I've heard cotton balls have expiration dates, I'm still finishing my Japanese cotton so I haven't used my cvs organic yet but I've heard they do and wondering what the effects are from vaping it? I bought 10 packs of 100 balls because they were only $3.50 a pack so I figured, why not? I like to stock up on things and who knows if that price will sky rocket, and honestly I change my wicks weekly or twice a week so yeah one ball will last me a long time, so I'm thinking I bought way too many and I have a chance to lose money, anyone know? thanks

correct me if I'm wrong, but that exp date is only affecting the hydrogen peroxide?

What I also don't see is you going back to CVS cotton balls after using Japanese cotton.
As soon as I found KGD I gave the CVS cotton to my wife and daughters...and now have 6 boxes of KGD stashed away.
If you're truly worried about vaping expired peroxide remember there's no chemicals in Japanese organic cotton

...hell I don't/wouldn't want to vape fresh peroxide either

I bought them and while waiting for them to ship since they don't sell them in store by me for some reason, I was using the Japanese cotton that my local vape shop gave to me for free!! i might add, while using some cotton my co worker gave to me when I got my mech mod

How any cotton ball manufacturer can think that mice can read and understand expiration dates is beyond me. It's so irresponsible...

The cotton balls don't have hydrogen peroxide in/on them that'll expire, it's what they're treated with in order to make them sterile. People get that impression, I've definitely heard things like "I boil mine I don't want to vape hydrogen peroxide whatever that is!!!" It's chemical composition is H2O2 (H00H), whereas water is H2O (HOH), and because it's very unstable once applied, it breaks down into water and oxygen (evaporates). It is just highly oxidizing so good for killing bacteria/bleaching.

In some industrial applications where you might want it for disinfecting machinery there can be a wrinkle: because it is so unstable and will basically evaporate away, it may be mixed with binders to help keep it from evaporating as easily. The bindants can leave a residue over time which you have to clean up, etc.

Don't take this the wrong way, because we've all had these moments (mine is a doozy), but I don't think I'll forget this post for awhile, so thank you. When I leave the room and you hear this giant burst of laughter interspersed with "..expired cotton balls.." know that I'm grateful.

It wouldn't have been so bad at home but I was at work on casual Fridays giving a presentation on Sexual Harassment and I was going commando at the time. OP, Mr. EvilGenius, I think your cotton balls are truly ok to use. Even after the expiration date.

I wonder if the FDA required that expiration date on, of all things, cotton balls Would make sense, since the FDA tries to control everything.
