Yes...although its possible its the nicotine, im not thinking it is....but i will try today without any nicotine

It might not be.

But it's good to try and Find a Common item in the things that are causing Problems.

I saw a Thread once where a person New to DIY was getting Headaches from All Her Mixes. People suggested all kinds of things. Nothing seemed to work. Turns out the Sweetener was Common to all Her Recipes. And once she Switched (and Lowered the % level) the Sweetener, her Headaches went away.

Hang in there, Dom, there's still a chance you can find out what's going wrong.

Maybe you're sensitive to PG. Get some straight VG from a local drugstore. Perhaps spike it with a few drops of a flavored liquid you have that sounds easy for you (citrus, mint, menthol?) and cut it with a few drops of distilled water. Then go slow with it when you feel a little stronger, to see if it meets your tolerance.

Conversely, you may not get along with VG. It won't be quite as convenient, but you can get some straight PG online and try a similar routine.

If you find that one of those works better than the other, you can start slowly adding flavor and nicotine until you get to a suitable mix, one that kills cravings without tipping you over. Good luck.
Do i need to add distilled water to the pg also?

ok i have tried both vg and pg separately. it seems to be the vg thats giving me the bad taste. now, that being said, is it possible im sensitive to the vg or thats just the way it tastes. given the way ive been feeling tho it is possible? if so, i guess my next question would be, is there anything wrong with vaping only pg? i will add my nic to pg and try that for a few days and see how that goes.

Pure VG should have a Pleasant Sweet Taste.

And if you put a Drop on your Finger and Taste it, it should Taste Clean and like Sugar.

I would suggest getting some New VG. Because using Only PG can give you a Very Harsh Hit. And Almost No Vapor.

its funny because vaping the pg tastes a little sweet.

Everyone is Different. And Taste is Subjective. But on Average, most people would Not Vape a 100% PG e-Liquid unless they had to. Just too Harsh for Many People.

The Important thing though is Finding what You like.

High-to-max PG vapers are still out there, believe it. It's very "old school." These days many people like higher VG because they find it smoother and it makes a denser vapor. But there are those who have found problems with VG, such as a "heavy lung" feeling, and they avoid it or keep it very low in the mix. If it works for you, it's the right thing to do. The conventional wisdom is that high PG liquids impart more flavor, also, so you might get by with less flavoring in the mix if you're making your own.

The Important thing though is Finding what You like.
