Again, I never want to offend anyone but my point to all of this is that these things have a short shelf life. They are mast produced in china with little or no research and development. We are the beta testers for most of these products. There really shouldn't be any type of quick fix because they're priced to be disposable. If you get a few weeks out of them, consider yourself ahead of the game. I wish ChellyNelly all the best & hope she finds a better delivery system. I enjoy her posts even though we don't always see things eye to eye. I'm still new to all of this as she is - we are both on a huge learning curve & entitled to make our opinions even if they're not 100% completely accurate. It wasn't a lecture - just trying to explain that these things aren't always going to perform like they're intended to.

I will def try that mod if I get more. We only got one each to try out. If I take the silicone off the mouthpiece and just stick it down onto the cup (sans mouthpiece) it doesn't leak because it's sealed better. But I can't get it to seal like that with it on the mouthpiece. Maybe I need to cut a little more length off the tube??

Sounds like trimming the tube down a bit may help give it a better seal.

Shack, I call them the way I see them - I try to be as nice & sincere as I can but I am me. Sometimes there is no nice way to tell someone something negative. I did my best to be nice and maybe it still came out a bit harsh. It's time to move on & not dwell. As far as a better opening sentence - no. I'll continue to be me, thats who I am. People shouldn't dwell on the tone - I think the substance has way more merit. For what it is worth, I've learned a lesson here, & I'll work on the tone.

Cool Mike! It blows me away how many new people there is on the Canada forum in the last few months--which is great--also means alot of questions are being asked that have probably been asked many times before. It seems you've jumped in with full gusto and I think you'll be a good resource for new vapers in the future---just remember -- Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down

It's all good folks. Well, not my Vision, but our friendships LOL

I wanted to cut the tube down some but then I realized the mouthpiece will stick up too far, if I cut down the mouthpiece that might work. Hm. I dunno.
I'm picturing you in a Dartmouth lab working away modding your Vision on a Saturday afternoon--too bad there wasn't an ecig repair service around here--lol!

$6.45? I don't mean to sound sarcastic or offend anyone but how long did you really expect it to last? Its disposable - order more if they worked for satisfying amount of time.

About 50-60 refills - The amount it's advertised as getting.

Chelly simply asked if anyone knew a fix to her problem so she could enjoy her hardware. She didn't ask for a debate on cost of other disposables. You decided to come in here and start asserting your opinions of the product and other products. I just don't understand how or why you would come in here and do that. In an extremely condescending tone at that.

All products have their problems. All the atomizer/cartridges/cartomizers are disposable. Hell even the batteries will eventually be disposed of, but this wasn't what the post was intended to discuss. What SHOULD have been discussed was how to fix the problem.

I love tanks as well--I'm curious as to which ones you are using? I've got a Liquinator,J tank,Smoktech,VPX and three Big Daddy Vapor tanks(two poly and one stainless tube for problem juice) as well. They all work pretty well but the BDV ones are definitely my favourites--they look great, are reasonably priced and I find the stainless caps really easy to work with(especially with the flanged Smoktech cartos--easy to take the caps on and off for filling). What cartos are you using--I have been using the Smoktech flanged with good success, although the hole is so tiny I've started to add a second hole with my saddle valve punch thingy(70 vg too thick!).I'd love to try the Arry ACTv3 tank(caps screw on)but they seem to be hard to get and are pricey.
Just placed an order for some more cartos a a couple of Visions--I'll be contacting you ChellyNelly for advise on how to get them working if I've got problems--sorry to hijack your thread--lol!!

Thanks, encee. Shack - I really do wish there was an e-cig repair service! Wouldn't that be something else!
Step 1: open e-cig repair service
Step 2: ?????
Step 3: PROFIT!
I don't know, $10.00 shipping each way plus parts and labor for an $18.00 ecig. I don't think there are that many turnip trucks around that vapers have fallen off of, to make that one a go.

Problem with these or any inexpensive electronic is that the labor and materials cost will end up been higher then the actual cost of the unit. I used to run a repair service for iphone and other high end cellphones, but that's is a whole different story since the iphones go for 500-1k a unit, so repairing those was actually worth it.
