I got an aging one here, try this:

Lift up the coil cap high enough so when you insert the mouth piece back,they touch each other;

Then vape with the tip of your PV upward...I find that you can chain vape that way with no gurgling or burnt taste...at all.

If you tip it down it will gurgle, but tip it up again and a couple vape will stop the gurgling and its chimney action again.

At least this work on mine with alien vision banana stuff.

I was just about to place an order for the Visions--I've been hearing so many great things about them but also seem to be seeing people having issues with them--I'll probably still get a few to try them out!Can someone tell me if you need an adaptor to use them on a Provari or is just a regular 510 connection?
ChellyNelly--have you tried a carto tank yet? I Personally I really like them---I've got 8 on the go and they work great --every once in awhile a bum carto but other than that no issues.

Will work fine on the ProVari.... The last lot that I received did not fire at all so perhaps a bad batch idk... no biggie as cheap enough IMHO

I think they are like anything else: If it leaks after 1 or 2 days use then it is a lemon. Throw it out and use another one.
That being said, I have had very good results with the Visions. Currently they are my carto of choice.

The only leaking situation I have encountered seems to be specific to the type of juice you vape. I vape tobacco flavours, the wife vapes Doc Pepper. Her vision started leaking after 2 weeks of use: Mine have not leaked ... yet.

It has nothing to do with being a noob. It has to do with making it perform better. The person who came up with the mod you're speaking of is far from a noob and probably one of the most respected Canadian reviewers/vapers. I'm not trying to tear the Extreme Vision down here -- I really wanted to love them but they wouldn't let me. You don't have to get pissy because I had a bad experience

I am not trying to insinuate anything or offend. I was just stating that noobs like to mod: I did my share of it. That is it, nothing else.
Sometimes modding is worth the effort, sometimes it is not.

Heh ya, I like to keep to the "don't fix whats not broken" principle, it usually works out pretty well.

I haven't had that problem as of yet. Is it gurgling and then leaking? Or just leaking alltogether??

First it just leaked a bit, some out of the connection end every once in a while. Then it progressed to leaking so much that it it would actually seep and drip from the connection to my battery. My boyfriend's followed the same pattern. I did the mod and got killer toots off it but it leaks way too much that it became a waste of juice and I began to worry about my battery.

I just also want to mention that in my case it was broken. So it was either give up on it or try something else. Like I said, I wanted to love them.

Okay, I retract. I don't want to come across as pissy. This is not what the ECF is all about. It is odd that 2 of 2 of the Visions are not working for you.
I am still unclear as how to mod a Visions. Not sure what modding will do to resolve the leaking issue.

If I may ask ... are you over-tightening the carto onto the battery? I had a friend who complained to me about the same thing you are reporting ... new visions and leaking problem. I am pretty sure that we tracked down the problem: If the carto is screwed on too tight, the seal breaks and the carto leaks.

Just a suggestion for your consideration.

That sucks. The only time I have ever had leaking was if I didn't clear it out when it started gurgling. I learnt you don't blow it out. The best way is to slap the lid on some papertowel and then suck the juice up the airhole (with the lid still off) so it goes back where it should be and you waste less. Note mine was not modded in any way. My fiance tried the ultimate mod though, the vapor was insane however he didn't cut the rubber right and got leaking. I will only use the visions or direct dripping myself now for the most part. I hate cartomizors with a passion although I can tolerate the tank carto's.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm careful not to over-tighten anything, and I did try the Vision looser on the battery a couple times but didn't find a difference.

For now they've been retired to the junk box, someday perhaps we'll try them again but for now, we shall continue on our search for our favourite carto/clearo! *treks on*

For what it's worth, Chelly, I had exactly the same scenerio with mine. Almost to the 'T' - followed the same downward trend as yours. And, yes, I tried the mod as well but, as in your case, it just got worse. I ran the gamut on a few different clearos/cartos but it was worth it because now I have found what works for me and, even better, something that I don't have to tinker with which means I can't break it. :D I'm just a plain ole Kanger horizontal gal and loving it. Hope you find your best setup soon too.

Sorry to hear they aren't working out for you. I'm personally not much of a carto fan but the taste on these things is actually pretty good. So far I haven't had the leaking issue you've had with two, but it's also only been used here and there for a few days. I sucks when equipment doesn't quite work out. I'm a 306 atty fan, and some last for weeks and weeks, other suck from the start line.
