Exterme Vision Leaking Like a ....

Just want to add my $0.02 here. Got my VE clearo from Tom the other day. First thing I did was do the Ultimate mod on it. Unlike the video, I used a Dremel to cut the tube and grind out the silicone stopper.

It fits absolutely perfect and hasn't leaked once. I wish I remember which grinding head I used (it was green) but it widened the hole in the silicone stopper to the perfect size such that it now fits snugly over the coil.

And boy, do these thing produce massive vapor or what? Just like JT sang, "I'm lovin' it."

I think there is an issue with reviews on most of these products. Having watched Vaporchase's review - it made many of us want to run out & purchase the VE. It was an entertaining review, nontheless - maybe one of his best even with all the stumbles. A review of the VE was missing a key element - "THE 60 REFILL" selling feature. Chelly & her BF obviously, didn't get to 60 & if they did, it was with utter fustration. A better review would have started with "so I've been using the VE for 3 weeks now and I gotta say............................." I definately learned something, here & will be a bit scheptic when one raves about a new product on Youtube. Just my 2c

I got 2 one died very quickly (likely due to the learning curve required for these) the other is doing fine. Without any mods I have discovered what works for me, never fill it up more than halfway and keep it upright. I actually love how it works but it's just too high maintenance for me to use all the time. I plan on getting more either way because it gives the flavour and vape of a drip atty with out the constant need to drip.

Not for everyone, and as I have discovered from personal experience NEVER order a ton of ANYTHING people rave about, get a couple and see how it works for you first.

Yeah, I got about 4 fills out of mine. My boyfriend is still using his sparingly so he's probably had about 8? And it was very frustrating. It does seem, however, as if I'm in the definite minority here as others have reported a lot more luck with these. But to be honest, that kind of just makes it suck more for me, not knowing why ours won't work properly.

You are not alone ChellyNelly i'm still having issues with mine too and i never had the tone of vapor that some people talk about but i'm glad i tried it From now on i will stick to my good old carto's because they work right out of the box no fiddling, no modding just fill and vape

I hear ya jojo. Sticking with my cartos for now. I'm going to try the Kangers on my next Canvape order, right now we're using Boge LRs. Also have an Acorn tank each from Parkes coming so hopefully those aren't too fiddly, but I have heard really fantastic things

Chelly, did it happen to start leaking after you had taken it outside? I just pulled a vision out of my jacket and it appears to have leaked all over EVERYTHING in my jacket pocket. Possibly a seal or the metal shrinking/expanding from being out in the cold and being brought back inside.

I honestly don't even think that I brought it outside at all.. didn't trust it enough, lol. BF has brought his outside though and hasn't experienced the exponential leakage like me.

I have been thinking about this issue for a couple of days now and I still don't get why anyone is modding the Vision's. Further, I have used a whole whack of Visions from different vendor's and I have not come across the type of leakage problem as reported in this thread. The Visions don't leak and don't require any modification at all.

Is it possible that what this post refers to as a Vision is not a genuine Vision?

I don't know what to tell you but there have been many issues (including but not limited to leaking and not wicking properly) reported with the Extreme Visions, that is why a mod exists in the first place (and it was not created by a noob). I am not the first person that has had issues. There is zero chance of them being "fake".

I'm sorry if my thread offended your love affair or something, but I was just trying to see if there was an explanation or fix for the issue.

I guess the store you got your Vision from just got in a bad batch. Maybe try the Visions from here

I got them from Canvape and I trust that it wasn't a bad batch. I don't know. If it was a bad batch then that would mean there are quite a few bad bathches as there are quite a lot of folks that had issues very similar to the ones I had. So if it was a bad batch, and there are that many bad batches.. I think I'd just want to leave them alone.

I really don't know. Like I said, I wanted to love them. Very much so.

I've had mine now for a week. Use it daily but not overly (still mainly atties). But so far no leaking. I have not bothered to mod it at all. I do find the taste is good, and tons of vapor, but on the airy side.

I've been anxiously awaiting them, Mike! Canvape's shipment of them got stopped at Customs and isn't being released as of now.... ridiculous.... Hope to see them soon though, I believe they've got another shipment coming.

I'm also waiting to try the "Vision Grande" (as GotVapes calls it), monster 4 wick/slot clearo/tank type thing

Too bad about the customs thing - that sucks - they are very sought after & seem to be the best thing since sliced bread. I liked this guys review because he filled it like 10 times & tried to make it fail.

Lets us know how the Vision Grande turns out - that one looks pretty good, too.

I said it before,there are a couple tricks to the vizions bliss:

1-Filling the half is a bit extreme;you can go 2/3rd and if you feel adventurous,3/4...more is asking for trouble.
2-Upon reinserting the mouth piece,hold it between your lips and ever so slightly suck trough it while reinserting it;this prevents pushing air into the tube thus creating pressure that would create leakage.
3-dont disturb anything;to refill,just insert the tip of the bottle as deep as you dare in one of the holes;
the silicone tube on top can be bent completely,it doesnt care...shove it there,do little squirts..upon releasing the squirt,the bottle redraw excess liquid,so its not messy at all.

Try that.

Edit: they dont like chain vaping;I take 4-5 draws and leave them alone for a few seconds,gives time for the wick to rewet itself properly.

Dont manhandle the vizions,they will giveit back to you a hundred folds!

I didn't manhandle them and honestly, if it's going to leak because I "disturb" it... it's not worth it to me. Believe me guys, I tried every .......n thing with these.. the 2 we got just sucked. Period.
