I'm new to vaping as well, and fortunately I haven't run into your problem. I've purchased juices from Vape Dojo (where I got my setup) and Ahlusion. I purchased 2 30ml bottles from both, and all of them were good, but the ones from Ahlusion stood out as being very high quality.

Again I'm new, so I don't have a lot to compare to. But I do recommend checking them out.

I'd say most people who try Ahlusion find the flavors to be very well done. I measure all other vendors against them. I'm also one who doesn't care for any of the Mt Baker Vapor juices. No amount of steeping helped on the many bottles I tried.

It is a common experience for most when we stop smoking and start vaping; we end up spending too much on eliquids that we find don't seem to taste good.

1: once you stop smoking your tastebuds are going to change; so stuff that might taste bad today might taste good in 3 months.
2: if you order eliquid at a local shop that mixes it on the spot, chances are they will need time to steep
3: what you need most of all is a liquid that you are happy enough with that you will vape instead of smoke.

I'd pay more attention to PG/VG ratio and nicotine strength, than on flavors;
try some unflavored; if you dislike the unflavored, maybe you wont like any flavor; adjust PG/VG and nicotine strength first.

To save on cost, I buy 24mg 100%PG and add glycerin from the pharmacy; I cut the cost at least in half.
Taste depends alot on the hardware you are vaping on; once you can get a decent enough liquid or two, you can spend more attention to the hardware.

did you just recently quit smoking?

here's what happened to me: after being cigarette free for about 4 days i went to a local vape shop, fell in love with their coffee flavor, got a bottle, bought it home, vaped it (without steeping) and it was delicious!! two days later BAM! it burned the hell out of my nose, and it tasted like i was ingesting freakin dish detergent with perfume mixed in it. it was atrocious. so i KNOW it was not the steeping. and i know it was not the pg/vg because the other bottle i bought from that shop (banana flavored) still tasted fine (but a little muted) two days after that, (after about 10 days of being smoke free) i started coughing up all that nasty build up and voila! my coffee juice tastes good again!
so could this be the problem?
it's pretty gross and maybe i'll go through a few more days of it but at least i think i have some answers now.
hope this helps

Now that is a PERFECT description of the kind of thing meant by "Your tastebuds are going to change."

I've spent probably 50 bucks on ejuice and I've only had a couple that I like, pomegranate from a local shop and a very tiny sample bottle of ky4. And the rest have just sucked

Maybe I'm just being picky, any advice is appreciated, has anyone else had an experience like this?

Everyone is different and you've gotten some really great advice here;

If you've got a local juice bar sit down and sample away

Find online retailers that offer sample(s) and sample bundles

Expect your taste to change over time

Airing and steeping can be of significant help

I've been vaping since 2011 and I've run through several e-liquid companies and tried every flavor from mints to spicy, nuts to fruits, I just haven't tried bacon yet - afraid the cats would mob me

I HATED fruits and candy flavors. Perfumey (to me) and just not right. Not once did I ever think "Where's that bottle of fruity/candy flavor I can't get out of my head".

Spicy flavors were just too over the top for me. Never liked clove cigarettes and I'm not the one that wants "throat hit", never liked harshness in cigarettes anyways and with vaping I only lung inhale about 20% of the time, more often puffing and nose exhaling.

Anyways, the only type of juice I can vape is coffees, nutty and only one mint I found suited me since I really didn't want menthol and that was Virgin Vapor (VV) Butter Cream Mint.

So I can usually buy anyone's Kona, peanut butter and hazelnut and unfortunately now that I'm on hiatus from VV no mint.

Many companies e-juices have tobacco undertones and others are straight flavors. Depends what you like flavor-wise.

So take the advice given here, it's the best way to find what you can enjoy.:)

An order just came in from fuzionvapor, and every single flavor they sent me is excellent and exactly what i was looking for! i'm a happy camper now... Now i've just got to figure out what delivery method gives the best flavor, the flavor seems muted in my iclear 30 and my iclear 16, i ordered an aerotank and i'm hoping the flavor is good with it! if not i'll have to bite the bullet and order the aspire nautilus i've been hearing so many good things about

It might be handy to keep some Menthol flavoring at hand. That way, you can order and not worry about if it's menthol or not. only advice is, look at the reviews. If they don't mention menthol, then chances are, it's probably not.

Not to mention, if you like menthol it can cover a multitude of e-juice sins

I've spent probably 50 bucks on ejuice and I've only had a couple that I like, pomegranate from a local shop and a very tiny sample bottle of ky4. And the rest have just sucked, I got grape, black tea and blue raspberry from myvaporstore. Passionfruit, vanilla swirl, and crunch berry from a local shop. All of these flavors just either taste like perfume or cough medicine.

I'm just getting very discouraged, a cigarette sounds really good right now...

I got my MVP 2 in the mail today with the Iclear 30, and I've gone through like 4 tanks of different flavors and I've had to dump them out and clean the tank then dry it over and over again. Idk what to do, I'm thinking about trying Bobas bounty cuz everyone seems to like it. I'm pretty upset because I've wasted all this money on juice that I'll never use

Maybe I'm just being picky, any advice is appreciated, has anyone else had an experience like this?

I finally clued into something with my taste. I bought a bottle of sweetener from Mt. Baker. Anytime the smell of a juice doesn't match up to the taste, I add just a drop or two of the sweetener. It doesn't always work, but sometimes it does. It sounds like you're expecting sweet flavors from your fruity juices, so that may help. I'm just trying to figure out how to get back the Snake Oil I gave away before trying the sweetener in it.

For decent flavored juice at a fantastic price ($5 for 15ml with a free 15ml bottle if you spend over $15) try mountbakervapor.com. My all-day vape is thug juice from MBV (fruity menthol). For more gourmet, flavorful juices i recommend vaperite.com. At any given time i have 3 different juices from them in my drippers. They generally run around $10 for 18ml but it is so so so worth it.

Bobas bounty is awesome and i have some in one of my drippers right now. For me it tastes like a really good cinnamon-honey tobacco but everyone tastes something different. If you havent tried it, give it a shot.

Sorry to hear youre having trouble finding the right juice but when you do, you wont have to search anymore. You can just try different flavors for fun and always have your daily-vape to fall back on when the nic fits start. Good luck and happy shopping

If you ever get into rebuilding (it is really really easy and cheap) you should grab you a kayfun. Ive tried almost every tank on the market and i used to be a big protank fan until i tried a kayfun. There is really no match for the kayfun. Something about it makes every juice taste wonderful.

Idk i'm intimidated by the whole rebuildable thing, like i've watched a couple videos and i'm still not sure about it, i found a kayfun on fast tech for only 15 bucks though maybe i should get it? what else would i need to order to build a coil and wick?
