So i could order wire and the kayfun from FT, get some cotton from walgreens and use my mvp 2 for an ohm meter and then i'd be pretty much set? What kind of tools do i need?

Tweezers, scissors, and something to rap your coils around. I use a 5/64 drill bit but have seen other videos using other sizes.

I use my MVP as a stand for the base.

There you go. :)

That one don't have airflow control, may be something that you can live without?

honestly idk i've never tried anything with airflow control, i'll see how i like my aerotank, it'll be in the mailbox when i get home from work today! i've been contemplating buying the nautilus just because EVERYONE seems to really love it, from what i've gathered the flavor and vapor production are really awesome... but maybe i'd be better off with the kayfun? it might be a good introduction into rebuildables?

I really like my aerotanks. I does help to be able to adjust the airflow although I can't speak for the kayfun without airflow as I have the Kayfun 3.1 and KFL+ which both have it.

The flavor is much better with the Kayfuns but I still use all of my Kangertech clearos everyday. Depends on what flavor I want as to which I pick up.

I found a kayfun 3.1 on FT for 20 bucks, and some wires $2.39 Pre-made Welded Wires - NR-R-NR (100-Pack) 100-pack - 0.18mm (33 AWG) / 1.8ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

would these wires be a good choice?

Probably around 4 months, but mostly i've just used an ego style battery with ....ty clearomizers and stuff, the mvp was my first mod i just got it last week.

4 months is a good start, just be careful jumping into RBA's and RDA's too fast, it can become expensive and frustrating if you don't do plenty of research first.
Watch lots of vids on rebuilding and read up on some of the RBA forums to get a clearer picture of what your getting into.
Once you get the hang of it, it's great. some say it's more fuss than it's worth but others absolutely love it...like me :D

Try some suicide bunny ejuice. I love mothers milk, it's my daily vape.
I've learned very quickly an ejuice can have a different taste to different people. Have some fudge browny my gf loves to me it tastes like burnt marshmallows.

The fasttech kayfuns are great. I use 2 of them and they work perfectly. For me the kayfun lite (no airflow control) works beautifully and i dont find the lack of airflow adjustment a hindrance of the flavor or vapor production. Definitely get the fasttech kayfun. Just be prepared to wait a few weeks and whatever you do DONT CHOOSE AIRMAIL SHIPPING OPTION!. i did that once and it took me over 2 months to get a teenie little package.

I would not, however, buy the coils from fasttech. Since they are coming from china i wouldnt be surprised if they were a much lesser quality alloy. Instead, go to temcoindustrial.com and buy you some 32g kanthal a1 wire. It is around $5 for 50 feet and is the same quality that you pay much much more for at vapor shops. You will have to wrap your own coil but it is extremely easy and all you need is a drill bit (1/16th or 5/64th) and a lighter or a torch. Check youtube forvideos on how to wrap. theres a guy named riptripper who makes fantastic videos for the kayfun.

If you choose to use cotton (i totally suggest you do) make sure you buy organic cotton balls. you can find a bag of organic cotton balls on amazon for around $5 and one bag will last you over a year or 2 if not longer. If you choose to use silica wick the method for wrapping a coil is a little different but you can find videos on that as well.

I've spent probably 50 bucks on ejuice and I've only had a couple that I like, pomegranate from a local shop and a very tiny sample bottle of ky4. And the rest have just sucked, I got grape, black tea and blue raspberry from myvaporstore. Passionfruit, vanilla swirl, and crunch berry from a local shop. All of these flavors just either taste like perfume or cough medicine.

I'm just getting very discouraged, a cigarette sounds really good right now...

I got my MVP 2 in the mail today with the Iclear 30, and I've gone through like 4 tanks of different flavors and I've had to dump them out and clean the tank then dry it over and over again. Idk what to do, I'm thinking about trying Bobas bounty cuz everyone seems to like it. I'm pretty upset because I've wasted all this money on juice that I'll never use

Maybe I'm just being picky, any advice is appreciated, has anyone else had an experience like this?

Hang in there, you'll find one or two you like. Took me 4 months to find a flavor profile I liked. Bought some watermelon (very Jolly Rancher tasting) and thought I was going to puke til I managed to use it up. Hang tuff.

Welded nr-r-nr wire is good for those replaceable coils systems like on the protanks because the nr(nonresistance) wire won't get as hot as the r(resistance) wire and the nr wire will be in contant with the rubber insulator grommet.

On a proper rebuildable, you can just use plain wire without worry because the contacts are metaltometl screwed down on metal posts.

Dude. Bamskilicious Ripe Mango. You won't be disappointed, trust me. This flavor makes my eyes roll to the back of my head. Anything from Bamskilicious is ON POINT.

Tell me about it, I've bought a gallon of VG, and PG, nicotine, prolly 30+ different flavors and using suggestions from here, spent money on a sonic cleaner/vibrator from harbor freight to help with the steeping process and I can't honestly say I've made a bottle of juice that really satisfies me.

There is a great thread on here listing gourmet e liquids and reviews from vapers. The big thing is, finding someone with the same type of taste buds as you to compare notes/reviews. Can you tell me which vendors e liquids you have tried so far and which you liked/disliked? Maybe I can make some recommendations? (tried over 50 vendors to date-so far my personal favorites are Virgin Vapor, Free State Vapor, Signature Smoke Juice). Its trial and error....so as others have suggested-try sample packs or only 1-2 flavors from a particular vendor until you find something you like. Also check out the Pay it Forward and Classifieds on here to help in your search.
