Been vaping for about a month now and just kind of wanted to rant and rave a little.
First off, the e-sellers I've dealt with -- dietsmokes.com, altsmokes.com, and vapor4life.com -- have been absolutely among the best of my dealings on the internet. Diet Smokes and Vapor4Life both did mess up my order once, but they both also sent the right thing immediately at *zero* extra charge with no questions asked, nor required that I send the other product back. Bravo!
Second, if you actually *like* the taste of tobacco, like I do, the 555 and Hilton flavors seem to be the best bet (so far). I don't work for them, but I spent a lot of time hunting around, and Vapor4Life's liquids for both of these flavors are great and also significantly cheaper than other places I looked at ($12.5 for a 20ml bottle). I see no visible sediment in any of the 5 bottles I ordered (two of them Mint-flavored for a friend, but I didn't try that one), and they all taste great to me.
Third, the choice of the cigarette itself needs a wizard (as in Windows wizard, Linux Druid, etc) to guide people toward the right one. I've got two M401, two 510C, and one 901.. and frankly, any one of them could be jesus christ if given to the right person. Personally, I prefer the 510, even though it affects the taste of the liquid considerably, just because it offers a better throat hit. But like for another friend of mine whom I recently turned on to vaping, she didn't care about throat hit or vapor, but did care about taste.. the M401 is definitely the best there.
Fourth, dripping versus filling carts. What's worked best for me is.. well, both. I stuff the carts with a syringe, and carry a bottle with me to top them off, BUT... my difference is that I fill them until they are pooling up. I've seen many of you say not to do this, but on the 510, yes absolutely you should. Totally overfill it. It will taste like **** once you've hit the batting anyway, and they've got so much batting in the carts that you won't suck it through. So really you're kind of getting the best of both worlds by overfilling it. I personally fill it until it's got a bubble over the cart
Just my 2 cents on it all
