Anyone experience eye dryness and irritation from vaping? It may be coincidence, but since I started vaping, I have experienced dry eyes and irritation, perhaps from the exhaled vapor lurking around and getting into my eyes? I went to an eye doctor and he confirmed I have dry eye syndrome. I vape darker eliquids, usually a 50-50 pg/vg and produce quite bit of vapor.

Like I said, it may not be related at all, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I know it's recommended that you should drink plenty of fluids because of potential dehydration, which I try to do.

I asked this question on the health and safety forum, but got no feedback.

Not gonna say it's the problem, but I say more water. 2-3 glasses a day should be consumed, even if you're NOT a vaper; you probably need more even if it's not the cause of your eye condition. Coffee and tea are well-known diuretics (make you get rid of water); extra water should be consumed just to compensate for the coffee and tea.

I've never had any problem with any juice or base irritating or bothering my eyes. Since I quit the analogs, my eyes seem much healthier and happier. If anything, I must say that my eye health has improved with less problems with lid infections.

I drink some water (2-3 glasses a day) and a lot of decaf coffee (several cups a day) and some green tea.

Water intake is calculated as your intake of water. Coffee or other drinks are not included as they have a slightly negative effect.

2 glasses of water a day is not enough water for your body, even if you drank no coffee, even if you didn't vape.

Lots of water will bring your body to a hydrated level in a few days. When you become saturated you will notice that the water 'seems to run through you'. Your body simply begins eliminating excess water. Excess vaping and high VG juice will dry your eyes (apparent) and your body (not apparent).
