Men are weird that way... the things they thought were "cute" (or so they said) when they're TRYING to get the girl become the things they find most annoying, after they've already got her. :D But I guess a lot of women are like this too; most women seem to regard men as "home improvement projects." :D

True! Over 25 years I have learned all kinds of things that hubby did or did not like prior to our marriage!

ROFL! I think we'd been married 10 yrs when I discovered that he thought I talked too much -- not a real newsflash, because I do in fact talk too much -- but I didn't know he found it annoying! :D

I have the same problem with my roomie. He has trouble breathing when he's in the same room with my vaping.

He was in the hospital for trouble breathing, among other stuff. When I took him to the hospital, I was vaping and he suddenly struggled to breathe. Same when I was vaping in the car when we came home from the hospital. He even tried to vape, but when he took a toot, his throat would close up.

I'm thinking it's a PG allergy.

From your description, your room mate was having a real and clearly obvious reaction and it sounds like he had already ahd legit prior asthma problems.

If you note OP's hubby simply says it, He does not actually display any noticable symptoms.

Yeah, when someone is *actually* having some kind of physical problem, they often don't have to *say* anything -- even if they *can* say anything -- it's perfectly obvious when someone is having trouble breathing. Someone who *says* they can't breathe... well, if they really couldn't breathe, they wouldn't be able to say much. It kinda takes air to talk. And I do know this for a fact, because ammonia takes my breath away -- I have to walk completely away from wherever the stuff is open, to be able to say "I can't breathe around that stuff!" A lot of disinfectants, on the other hand, feel like they're burning the inside of my sinuses, which is most unpleasant, but doesn't affect my ability to talk, but I'm usually holding my breath so I don't have to breathe that burn into my nose. A lot of times when I walk into a convenience store and they've just mopped the floor, I get this reaction.
