I've just had PM's from 3 more volunteers. If they are reading this, I will get back to you in a couple of hours as I'm just about to issue an update as a result of discussions to date. I still have a bit to do - building the app, creating the installation file, updating the help file, and updating the review site webpage. Please be patient...

OK folks, it's UP

Use your existing link to the Ez-Mix preview page to download it.

I have also added an online version of the Help file on the webpage, which you may like to try.

I have incorporated most of the changes we discussed in this thread, and changed the Help file accordingly. You may notice a few subtle changes to the interface - these were necessary in order to accommodate the mods.

I just mixed a batch and it worked great. I like the built in cost calculator, I've always mixed my juice and then went on-line to see how much it cost ( I like having the calculator on my pc incase the net is down ). The only thing I don't like and it's not a big deal at all is the set percent's for PG/VG I finally settled for a 55/45 mix, the closest I could mix with Ez-Mix was 60/40 or 50/50. So I have to say GOOD JOB and WELL DONE Jeff.

I've had time to check this out and it is a great beta version... Works really well in most respects..

I do have some comments..

Please fix the tab orders.. this is a MUST to use it all the time. Nothing is more agrivating than the cursor not going to where you would normally expect it. This should be a simple fix in Visual Studio if that is what you are using...

My other comments are more just superficial and arguable suggestions..

Label the help button some people don't understand that the ? is clickable... You should also make sure pressing F1 brings up the help screen as it is the Windows standard.

Mix Volume was not completely understandable at first... I got it after a few seconds but Volume to Mix or Ammount to Mix would be easier for the newcomer to understand.

Wish Item

Cleaner printing for the full page version, something that would actually look more like a report and formatted to fill the page evenly.
Also allowing a wider left margin specifically for the full page version or if it is redesigned allowing for good arrangement for using a 3 hole punch to put in a binder or folder.. I'd say an inch if just allowing a wider margin...

It would be really awesome to have an auto set button for the nic level... On some of the stuff I work with I'm constantly adjusting it to get everything to balance..

Let me explain, I mix my nic base ahead of time in most cases... I mix a 120ml at a time currently at 16mg... I then just add flavoring to make recipes in small batches to experiment with and just take whatever the resulting nic level is depending on the flavoring amount.

It be really great to just put in the starting nic level, the amount to mix and the flavoring percentages and then let it calculate what the nic amount is, just so that I know and can label it as such...

For those that use Linux, It runs fine under Wine with no problems. Good program works well

No reason why it wouldn't run under WINE for OSX then... It might be beyond some people to get it installed but there are some easier to install packages of WINE... Codeweavers Crossover for Mac is $60 but it is supported and easy to install and use and it IS less than the cost of a Windows license to run in a VM or Bootcamp is you don't already have a Windows license.

A free version of WINE made for mac is WINE Bottler..
