FA tobacco conundrum

I recently placed and received 2 large flavor orders from 2 separate companies, both pretty reputable. From 1 I purchased (among others) FA Desert Ship, and the other order included FA Virginia. I've had the Virginia before and could remember it's distinct smell and flavor, so I waited to try that one and opened the Desert Ship to try first as that was new to me. It smelled of spices very reminiscent to the Virginia, but I didn't think much of it at the time. A few days later, the batch had steeped and was ready to try, and it was almost exactly like the FA Virginia that I'd had in the past.

Are these two flavors that similar? I'd say it could be possible that the vendor mislabeled a bottle of Virginia as Desert Ship and sold it to me accidentally, but they don't even have FA Virginia listed on their site. Like I said, I hadn't made up any of the ACTUAL bottle of FA Virginia to compare, but I just whipped some up, so tomorrow I can test them out side by side.

Anyone with experience with these 2 flavors, I'd love to hear from you, because as much as I love FA Virginia, I don't need 60mls of the stuff!

Desert Ship and Virginia are totally different IMO, at least if they are mixed around 2-3%. If so, I'd say there must have been some sort of a mix up.

I have been told/read that you can get a totally different flavor when mixed at higher percentages though.

I mixed them both at 1.5% + 2 drops VW in 10 ml. Like i said, haven't tried the ACTUAL Virginia flavor yet though. But even the smell and color are the same in the vendor bottles. Is Desert ship the same dark amber color?

My Desert Ship is a little darker than the Virginia. I've never used any VW so I don't know how that may effect it but I wouldn't think* it would make that big of a difference. IMO, there shouldn't be any confusing the two they are totally different.

The Virginia in time will turn a very bright yellow.
