How do I remove the Facebook Connect feature?

I tried it and I don't like it.

Ok, tried both rolygate's idea and the ccleaner....


Rolygate's idea didn't work for me but the CCleaner did... thanks for pointing it out for me...

I closed my browser and restarted my laptop and now its happening again... what the heck... how do I exercise this demon...

Instead of just closing out of the browser, try logging out of the forums when you leave. There is a link titled "Log Out" at the top right of the forums. When you use this, it clears out your cookies & cache.

I was saying that it was working UNTIL I closed my browser and restarted my computer... It was fine until I did those things then it started happening again...

BUT... In the spirit of due diligence I tried your suggestion again and I am posting here for the first time to see if it worked... I will edit this post after I determine if it worked or not...

EDIT: As expected, it worked. I'm just curious how long it will last. Hopefully this will fix it for good. Thanks. j

Ok, its happening again.... I honestly think it is something to do with the site putting these cookies on my computer after I delete them...
