Never tried those - I never have cigarettes around anymore so I generally don't have access.

neither did i.. but i bought an entire bag (its the self roll kind). Filters | Rawthentic

Couldnt find any unprocessed or unbleached cotton here (or from questionable source.. or unknown whats in it) so it was a necessity ;/

Any advice for a relative newbie that's NOT yet into building coils and only using the MVP 2?

Thanks in advance

It's not nearly as intimidating as it might first appear, and it's inexpensive (more economical than stock coils) to snatch up some wick, wire, and a cheap dripper... so you can practice. The MVP is more than enough device to roll out a 1.1ohm microcoil and vape yourself into a nic stupor. If you are even considering it, consider using up existing stock of any liquid higher than 6mg. :)

What kind of tank do you use? I started off with just rewicking kanger heads (for protank 2) with cotton and reusing them that way. My very first self wrapped coil was actually on a Taifun GT or a Reo, can't remember exactly which. I found that easier than rebuilding a protank coil. So I just rewicked thos for a while. I still use my MVP's with Protank 2 Minis and Cartotanks. They give me great flavor without the fuss.

You tube....Home Depot (for a few tools)......these forums.....a few $$$$ and you'll be building like a boss in a few weeks. After you move beyond the MVP, battery safety and ohms law should be studied thoroughly.

Currently favorite tanks are the Aspire ET-S BDC, not like the coils are all that expensive and to date they have lasted a very long time. Just figure as I get into some flavors they'll probably gunk up coils much quicker.

Thanks everyone for the advice, much appreciated.
