I know I was leery when I made my first order from China. I can understand why a lot have problems at first. The language barrier at first then the 2/3 week shipping time and they feel they have been ripped off. The only way to go is read reviews and take the chance. I am very happy I did.

Andria one of my rainbow spinners came like that and the press fit was off, I was afraid to bang on it but the guy at the B&M near here just pushed it in and it's worked fine ever since.

fasttech doesn't list them as authentic - FT is very good that way.

BUT what happens when a vape shop (B&M or online) orders these from FT, and then sells them as the genuine article, at a massive markup? That's the problem. These mods don't come with a "Certificate of Unauthenticity" that would protect the buyer!
So far I haven't really seen that from B&M's. And while there are a lot of people who are against clones, they really do help this industry thrive considering most of these mod builders run a very limited production at extremely high prices.

Now I would never buy a clone APV and thanks to Sigelei, iPV, Innokin and eLeaf, nobody has to. But when it comes to an RDA or something, a clone may be the only choice.

Yeah, I can push it back in, and it stays.. for maybe 30 seconds, then pops out again. That's why it would need some way of clamping it together, to fix it with superglue.

I know that chain of B&M here sells those at a high price, 650 for $30. batteries egos (fakes) which last anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. I do a lot of research with vendors online and B&M;s before I'll buy from them.

Yes it does, I've had a couple of Ego's, real ones, and the top breaks, iin pockets, glove boxes that close on them, etc... but I know that's not your point ;)
There are quite a few "copies" around of popular gear, but not always bad ones. A couple are better than the original, as the real manufacturers are getting a weeny bit sloppy at times... IMHO!

Myth.

I have never ever seen this in the real world.
A B&M would have to be crazy.... Not only can the customer walk right back in, so can a lawsuit.....or cop.
That would be just silly.

It might happen in a private sale, But no storefront is risking everything for a couple hundred dollars.
Don't be naive.
