FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions About Electronic Cigarettes

Okay so I'm in.

Started vaping 2 weeks ago after lots of research. This site had the best info so decided it was worth registering.

I am fortunate to be in Orange County, CA_ close to E-Cig City which is a retail store that really helps when you are trying to figure out equipment and flavors. They have a fantastic selection of eqpt. and flavors.

Started with an Ego-T and my wife started with a KR808D-1 both based on the suggestions of the guys at the store. There are a lot of choices on the web and after lots of reading I was no closer to deciding what to buy. Had a friend who showed me an Ego and I decided that was what I wanted but wanted to sample some flavors so off to the store I went. It was pretty cool.

Now a lot of my wife's FaceBook friends want to know how they can get one so this thread is a really good place to point them. Thanks!

So far i havent replaced any batteries I figured that as a cost, but the batteries are holding up so its ch3aper than I thought. I tried the ego and don't like it.
@Radeljack Do you mean you have to throw away & repurchase two batteries a month? That seems like a lot for the battery. Have you tried the eGo or totally wicked batteries? Me & my husband purchased four all at once & they're the only batteries we've vaped on for 7 months. They last for us, me a former pack a day, him 1.5, a regular 24 day before we recharge.

Hi everyone. I'm new here and have been vaping for about 3 months (gave up analogs completely 2 1/2 weeks ago). I have a 510 atomizer that i debridged and use for dripping but I can't get a peach flavor out of it. I've tried unflavored and plain pg but it's still there. Should I soak it or boil it? I don't want to ruin it. Thanks.
I've read and done the boiling water and it works great! I key them dry for 24 to 48 hours after. This keeps them clean too, I think it helps to have a great Vape too because you can get guck build up with some darker or thicker juices.

I use the boiling method to clean my carts and Cartomizers too. I pour boiling water over them in a pan, when cool I empty the water and do it again. I put them carts with poly filler by a heat vent to help them dry out quicker. I haven't ruined anything this way yet, if anything I think it makes some things last longer. Hope this helps.

I guess you want to know if your mod is gonna explode in your face.

A nice day to everyone here. If you are talking of the knowledge, a vietnam veteran got a few days ago ... how not to use Li-Io battery ... thats unfortunate. I am really sorry for him. But this means to the regular use of a e-cigarette nothing. Same as the exploding battery of a man´s handy after beeing droven about by a car. No one stopped using a handy. And electronic smoking is safe. Same fool proof as a lot of things that are naturally surrounding us.

Thank you so much for the info! It is a little overwheling at times... I just started this about a week ago and have been having some troubles already. Thank you so much for all of this information!

When I came across vaping back last November it was by seeing an e cig at a smokers shop, a light went off, just not bright enough for me to throw analogs away completely, lol. I did not anyone who caped. I joined this forum after seeing it on a google search for more info on buying replacements for the e juice in the carts I was using. It was a door to the wonderful world of vaping! I have gotten some great
Info and met some awesome people all while quitting a vile habit that has dominated my life in many ways. I know if you ask a question on here people are so nice in trying to help you find the answer.
Glad you found this forum and I hope you don't get frustrated, hang in there, it's worth the time and effort to Vape!
