In Dr. F's reply to MEPs, he says the unnamed pharma co. is "the world's leading B2B supplier of nicotine replacement therapy." A quick google search of that phrase will tell you which company it is. Can I post it here without the BP police knocking on my door?

Well, I did a quick Google search using "the world's leading B2B supplier of nicotine replacement therapy" and Fer <cough> tin describes themselves by using that exact same quote. Perhaps they shouldn't brag so much.

Is it terrible that this news isn't shocking at all to me? There was some mention on twitter that ferntin pharma was at the e-cig summit and was very interested in examining mods and such. This is all gossip, of course, and was mentioned after ferntin was linked to the letter.

I dont know that I blame the Pharm company for trying to protect their interests. We all know that this stuff goes on. What will be telling is if this gets drafted into legislation! Then of course a bigger problem is exposed.

It's not the Pharma company that's the problem, it's the fact that it's Philip Morris through a Pharma company trying to crush an industry they haven't entered yet... My take is that it's going to be all out war among big tobacco next year to dominate what is left after this directive.
