Evidently I was more of a sissy than I thought I’d be...seems like 24mg sends me into coughing fits. I’m using 18mg and am smoking fewer cigarettes, but still have quite a way to go. Guess I gotta start somewhere, huh?
Have you tried 24mg nic salts? Could make you cough less. They make me cough more myself, but they work well for a lot of people.
Another possibility is 18mg NET or WTA. These may satisfy you more than 18mg.

High nic juice these days is too much for me. When i quit in 2010-2011 I was smoking 2 PAD and 24mg was just right. I've been at 3mg strength for years now and it's enough. High nic juice takes away the cravings. Once you have it under control your can begin to drop the nic over time.

Maybe my perception of this issue is faulty, but ... it seems to me it's mostly the moderate and MTL vapers who have problems with their "craving" for nicotine and who are insecure about the dosage of nic in their juice, no?

Is it possible that the craving isn't so strong, or present at all, for those who chuck big clouds at superlow nic% all day (like me)? Not because big clouds translate to big nicotine intake (which they don't), but because the habitual side of the intake process is so much more intense and basically leaves no room for additional desires to build up and take over?

I mean, if nicotine itself were really "the problem", then wouldn't things like nicotine chewing gums or skin patches eliminate the need to smoke, or for additional nicotine intake ? But isn't it so that these helpers have a success rate of below 5%? That would make me suspicious...

Most people who are trying to quit smoking via vaping start off (and may continue) as MTL'ers. Seems to me that would explain why so many MTL vapers have nicotine questions/concerns.

I think nic is just a tiny piece of the puzzle, at least for me. I believe if I could get good TH without it, I probably wouldn't even notice the missing nic after a week or so. But nic doesn't really scare me, so no real need to struggle to make it go away.
I feel exactly the same. I just cannot do without TH and is the only reason I do hi nic juice. If I could get that intense TH without nic, I would be all over it, but there is just no way to obtain that mtl 24mg TH any other way .
