fast tech wants a picture of my credit card, a picture of my license, and a copy of a utility bill. They are asking for this in order to ship the $140 order I just placed. And they have already charged my credit card!

How is this ok???

Do you guys give them this stuff???

Help!

Fasttech is definitely legit, and used regularly by a lot of people here. I have an order en route from them right now actually. I don't use Paypal either, but I've successfully placed several orders with them and have never been asked for anything more than what I enter during checkout. I'd cancel the order and clarify with their customer service why you're being asked for so much information. If it's due to the order total, break it out into smaller orders.

I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of stuff from FastTech and a couple of times they asked for a picture of my credit card. I gave it to them. I mean ... It's a credit card. If I ever saw fraudulent charges, the credit card company will charge it back. I certainly wouldn't send them debit card info though.

I've never been asked for a utility bill or a picture id from them.

I have ordered from them before. They have never asked for any of this. Honestly, this seems like a scam.

That is how it started. They asked for a pic of the front of my card. I covered some of the numbers and sent it (only the front, not the back).

Now they want my ID and utility bill. It sounds like a straight up scam. If you guys weren't vouching for Fast Tech, I would consider them fraudulent.

I've ordered lots of times from Fasttech, never with any problems. First time I've ever read of this happening although I see in this thread others have been asked for this kind of info. I'd cancel the order immediately. No on-line vendor gets all that information from me, and never one located in China.

May have something to do with the new age verification requirements.
Very seriously doubt that. The age verification stuff is being handed down by the FDA. It's specific to the USA. Fasttech is in China and not subject to any of that mess. I have ordered twice post 8-8-16 and have never been asked for anything extra and no age verification (not that I can remember anyway).

Fasttech is very legit! I make at least 2 orders from them every month for the last 3 years. I even have 3 orders in various states right now.

Cancel your order. If they charged your card, they have to either offer credit in the form of a store gift certificate or return the funds to your card. If you get the certificate, you can remake your order and pay with that. If they return your funds, then you can always try again.

However, I would make a PayPal account and use that now. It is safer and you almost never have problems such as you had this time.

I tried to order a few things from FT the other day and they would not accept PayPal for Aspire coils. I just didn't bother with the order. Has anyone seen this before?
I recall someone having a similar issue. However, I personally have not. I actually have ego one coils in the mail now.
