I found the vaporjoes article to be an interesting read regarding this. http://.........blogspot.com/2013/06/the-dirty-little-not-so-secret.html

Other companies have always fought Chinese companies due to copyright infringement, shady business practices, and have always lost. The Chinese govt. doesn't care. So this whole Chinese vs Chinese battle is somewhat ironic and comical. You really can't do anything but try to blast your competitor on your own website.

If Fast Tech wanted to fight back, it might mean Innokin would be in trouble if Chinese law is the same as American.

What Innokin is doing is called price fixing. That is banned under The Sherman Antitrust Act. Innokin does have the right to refuse to sell to a company, but not aggressively stop them from carrying a product, nor lie about a company. If Fast Tech was carrying legitimate Innokin, regardless of how it was obtained, Innokin has no right what so ever to lie as they did over the weekend calling them counterfeits.

Vapor Joes blog covered this... If they wont sell at MSRP then the manufacturer will claim its a knockoff, which may or may not be true. No way of telling.

To me, I could care less if its a genuine innokin product or not. If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck... Ya know?

Oddly enough I do not have the same sentiments towards the purses I carry...

I think a manufacturer can insist on a set price for their product.

eg Apple can insist their phone is sold at £500 and Samsung can undercut them by selling theirs at £300

Price fixing is where 2 or more competitors collude to fix their price which means there is in fact no competition. If apple and Samsung agreed to keep their prices the same that would be price fixing.

If you bought knockoff purses think of all the extra money you'd have to buy knockoff vaping gear.

Its funny how its OK for them to copy off everyone else but when they do it to one another it becomes a problem for them...

I see, thanks for the clarification.
