I didn't see anything about VEGGIE burgers, though. I only eat 100% made in the USA veggie burgers. I wonder why they cost more because veggies are actually cheaper than meat.

I was in the e commerce business for a couple of years (dog supplies made in the USA).....it is common practice for a manufacturer to set a price standard for their product. If someone didn't abide by it, they would contact the company and ask them to raise the price. If the company did not comply they would be cut off. This does protect the other vendors selling at the MSRP. Whether its legal or not I don't know. I also managed an outlet store selling shoes. There was a maximum we were allowed to sell per style per customer. If we sold above that amount it was a terminable offense. This was to protect the integrity of their product. People were trying to buy shoes in bulk and selling them for more on the street or at their own stores. Sorry for going a little off topic with the shoes....my point is there are crazy rules in retail and it is intended to protect the manufacturer and those selling their products.
