Fast tech in hot water?

The only difference between the joye and knockoff egos when I used egos was the logo and the soft touch finish joye used. The buttons broke and heads popped off with the same frequency

I really like the feel of the finish though.

YAY!! I have generic batteries!! only paid less than 8.00 each!! What a steal, and they still work after having them a week!!

I buy in bulk and expect a high failure ratio. If it happens, I was right, if it doesn't I'm giddy with glee! I would rather buy 9 items at $3.00 each and have 3 fail, than 3 items at $9.00 each and have 1 fail.

I check my bottoms of my ego's and I see "no logo" therefore they are generic.. I like generic.. they are cheaper and easier on my budget..

but my pass thru on my pc has no logo either.. hmm.. I don't think I own anything with any logos... Now I feel all deprived.. *sniff

oh it doesn't have the logo? that's weird...

when i first got my (now ignored) vivi novas i was told repeatedly that they weren't genuine...the box said vivi nova by smok...apparently vision are the "real" ones LOL

My first "ego" battery purchase was at a local B&M. It's a passthru and hubby has one too. I don't have the bottom any more, we will blame hubby for losing them, so I cannot say with certainty they are authentic, but I do remember the box said joytech.

I have since bought several styles, mah's of the ego types ( a few from FT) and see no difference? Fake or not, I love the prices at FT...placed an order with them last night..5 more knock off egos on their way to me

I figured that out as soon as I took a look at that website.... If it's too good to be true, or made in China, it's fake.

I'm going to have to agree with this. Bash them with facts is what my dad used to say but I have no horse in this race.

If you buy china quality stuff, the distinction between original (though Joye didn't design it) and the knockoff is not really enough to be something to worry or fight about.
