Noooo, customs seized my MVP...i have to go to their offices and prove that the MVP costs less than $50(long story short, law here states that imported goods for personal use can't be more than $50 with shipping included) So i'll have to go tomorrow with the paypal and FT invoice to their office...bleh...this could take days until they decide they'll let me take it home. (public services employees are a very particular type of people around here :()

OHHHHH NOoooooo

i tend to hate clones but in the case of e-cigs, i think it's all the same, with the exception of ..... ahem, provari!
for anything like vamos and egos, well, if you want to save some money, just go for the clones.

i guess my biggest gripe would be when shops sells clones at the same price (or HIGHER) than the originals.

I can't imagine how cheap a vamo clone, knock off, counterfeit, fake, copy cat, imitation,... would be... think the next step is free..

Maybe I misread. From the FAQ page:"Warranty Please consult with Innokin official distributors for their warranty and return policy. Innokin’s warranty does not apply to products purchased through third party vendors."

iTaste MVP USER MANUAL - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin

http://support.fasttech.com/FAQ/standard-product-warranty

Support › Frequently Asked Questions ›
Do products come with warranties?
Unless otherwise noted on the product page, product warranty is 6 months counted from the date of shipment.

Within 3 months after shipment:
Upon returning, defective items are replaced and shipped back to customers for free. Return shipping reimbursement is USD 40 or 50% of the item's price, whichever is lower.

3 to 6 months after shipment:
Upon returning, defective items are replaced and shipped back to customers for free. Return shipping reimbursement is unavailable.

Afterwards:
Customers may still send defective items back to FastTech. FastTech passes those items back to their manufactures and helps coordinating the repair. Customers are responsible for shipping charges both ways.

Depending on the problem, fees may be assessed by the manufacturers. FastTech will contact customers before committing the repairs.

Parts not covered by standard warranties

Consumables including but not limited to ink, depletion of disposable or primary batteries, etc.
Parts naturally exposed to tear and wear including but not limited to screen protectors, cases, etc.
Damages or degradations caused by improper operations including but not limited to torn cables, blown fuses, bricks due to installation of custom firmwares, etc.

looks like better warranty with ft

Maybe I didn't not have enough coffee as I meant to say the Joyetech website. I was under the impression that they could say for example Ego compatible, ego threads etc, but not call it an Ego. The model below is what I was referring to. Someone would have to own the original design/patent etc. Since these models just came out within the last year it would be nice to know who's vaporizer it is.
$16.38 - Cigabuy - Quit Smoking Rechargeable 650mAh Electronic Cigarette Set

As far as e-juice mine is supposed to be manufactured in the U.S. I do understand however that often times extract flavorings have to come from elsewhere.

Yes, the website descriptions are the pits. I think most of these guys just copy and paste. Then there is the math. Below is a price quote that I got:
"If you chose China post Total Amount: $73.45($13.5shipping cost+$21.9produce price+$1.8paypal fee)"
Emailed her back too 2x telling her it was wrong it should be $37.20..and she still sent me the same total. After I asked her to cancel that I was not interested in doing business with a company that cannot get it correct numerous times...

There are some people on this forum that are VERY good at giving just the facts when it comes to basic equipment use and such. I would trust what someone like Badatude says about tanks and clearo's for example. I know well he has done a great deal of homework on the subject and even written informative blogs to assist the newbie. That doesn't mean I agree with everything he says but in general I do trust him when it comes to gear.

I don't think I have ever blindly followed anyone however.

The term 'Sheeple" however is so darn condescending and nasty however I find it extremely inappropriate.

You would have to look long and far (but really only in a 20sq mile area in China) to find out who makes that items. It's not joyetech, nor is it claimed to be. Ego is used as a generic term for the connection and generally covers a slim battery style.
Joyetech lists their current products here.. but also drop old products from the list so it's hard to say what they made... Joyetech products catogeries, retail price information
