I have a 80 year old grandfather that i want to get a ecig with a t4 type tank or
possibly a 650 ego with a t3,

the second is prefarable.

here's my situation
my grandfather is a stroke survivor and his right side is entirely paralyzed.
my grandmother just recently passed away, august 16th. diagnosed with cancer and died a horrible death within a month of finding out.

So my poor grandfather was moved in basically over night with my mother. And he was gonna burn her freaking house down with analogs... so she has started buying him the occasional blu cig or njoy...when she can afford it.
the problem is the nic is so freaking high along with how expensive they are. but with the nic so high he won't sleep and taps on his hospital bed through out the night driving her insane.

this week i started letting him taste my juices and he reallly likes them. so i'm looking to try to get him his own setup.. cheap.
like preferable tank, battery charger $15 or less. i'm willing to shop at fast tech even if it takes a month.

but its so overwhelming, and very little reviews and most are just got it in the mail today. well i'd like something that will last 6 months or more.

i tried to search fasttech posts but every one really just talks about shipping taking forever and its hard for me to find the actual product reviews.

so if any one could post some links of some cheap batteries that are decent and not feminine, i will really appreciate it.

thanks in advance.

the shipping delays from fasttech at the moment are very long, too long IMO for your situation. I would suggest looking for a US seller.

edit: I know you said you would be willing to wait a month ... but that's gonna be a long month IMO, and you can probably get within 10 bucks of your target price with a US seller.

I agree.

If there is any way that you can, bite the bullet and get 2 name brand (ego, smoktech, etc.) batteries and 2 T3's from a local reputable vendor. That way, if you have problems with anything you can return/exchange it and won't be waiting days or weeks for the mail. Yes, you will pay a few dollars more. Considering the circumstances, IMHO, it would be worth it.

I just got an order in 8 days... I did not include batteries, But the fact is there is a holiday October 1st through the 6th that will shut everything down so if you should go through Fasttech you would be best to wait till the 7th. HKT

I agree. Go to Simplyvapes and take a look around. Overall, they have some of the best prices I've seen for e-liquids, batteries, etc, etc, when it comes to stateside vendors. I've been doing business with them for 9 months, and I can vouch for their quality and integrity.

I have heard ok things and bad things about the ego types at fastech. The same though is true for the us vendors. My guess is the middleman is being taken out when shopping at fasttech.

The cheapest tanks I got at fasttech, I didn't like. I do like the x6 tank and the x8 carto tank. Around 7 bucks each.

Once they get the li ion battery thing and over their holiday I hope things get back to normal shipping wise.

They do have a decent return policy. Although shipping time makes it take forever.

I'd take a look at smokeless image. They have good cig style and some ce's. I used them and they are still working. It may look a bit funny with a clearo on a stick, but some of us aren't in it for looks. The only negative is they are all 808 threads. They have autos too. Or used to a while back.

Again all these are from china or at least what I understand.

Should add..look at the reviews at fasttech. It is usual easy to tell the fabois from the real deal.

This may not be at all what you are looking for but I thought it was worth a mention. My mom is 76 years old. Started out vaping with us a little more than 3 years ago and went back to the cigs after about 6 months. :( I recently got her a 10 pack of Fling disposables and she loves them! They last a long time if you get the regular size and can be tossed when you are done with it.

They had a sale going through the summer. 10 pack for 29.99. That sale is over but, still a very good deal at 39.99 IMO

It really took being fuss free and more cig like for her and I was very glad to find them.

Good luck to you and your Grandfather!

yeah i can't afford that much is the problem.
i just started 3 weeks ago. and have spent like $400 bux
i started with white cloud, south beach, halo g6, halo triton, and just ordered an i taste vv..
all within the last 3 weeks!

so this is just an idea of a gift i guess for him. if it doesn't get here for awhile its ok, he's not expecting it.
this isn't something i have to watch the mail for.

otherwise i'd just get him a halo triton kit and call it a day.

thank you for all the thoughts and ideas.
it's basically, cheap or nothing.
i mean he is 80 years old ya know. i really don't want anything bigger than a 650 battery i think anything bigger is too much for him to handle.

Batteries or not does not seem to matter for the delays, have seen delays with orders containing no batteries.
