Thanks. I'm surprised to read that the cone provides any functional purpose.

Received an order about three weeks ago containing a 7 pack of Evod knockoffs, 5 replacement heads, a 7 pack of CE4's and 2 Kanger Pro Tanks. Evods are working fine and I have "tank cracker" juices in 3 of them. Can't really speak about the replacement heads as none of the originals have failed. The CE4's are working fine with no failures to date but I'm not crazy about the heat from the top coil. Of the two Pro Tanks, one works fine and I am using it right now but the other had issues. It looked fine and all the gaskets were in place, two flavor wicks but it leaked a whole tank of juice overnight. Returned it to FT and waiting on a replacement
If done properly, it unloads the horizontal movements from the 510 threads and transfers a portion of it to the wider base of the cone. It should be noted that it doesn't make it REALLY strong, it just unloads a lot of the wear and tear off of the 510 threads and it will take a heavier hit without snapping off the 510. It more than anything stops the wobbling that constantly wear on the threads of the 510.
The proper way to do it is screw the cone all the way down, then screw on the tank just enough until it is making good contact and functioning properly, then unscrew the cone (holding the tank still) until it makes good and solid contact with the bottom of the tank and tighten finger tight. I use them wherever possible just for this reason, nothing to do with appearances really.

The 2nd order is still being processed. This is a tough adjustment going from MadVapes and MyFreedomSmokes. Those guys processed orders fast.
I'd be very interested in your opinion of them when you get them. I've tried several of them and I can't seem o avoid the burnt taste. I'm using 70/30 mixtures so not really super thick liquids either.
Would you mind posting your opinion of them after you've had a chance to try them out?
Certainly. Although I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the buying decision. I added them to my shopping cart so I wouldn't forget about them ... or lose them. Still a little shaky on navigating the FT inventory. If I don't tag an item in some way I often can't locate it later.
The wishlist system on Fasttech is actually pretty nice. they even let you make your own tabs and categorize stuff. Give it a whirl, it's pretty slick

Did a follow-up to the previous order. Those 510 stick batteries should have a charger. They only cost 98 cents each when you order five. Added in a couple eGo mini batteries to get the order over $15. My wife loves the little Mini battery.
