Hi Molto. In the upper right of every page above your name and avatar is a search box. Search "steeping methods", "crock pot" and "ultrasonic cleaner". You should get quite a few different threads. Other methods are the hot cup of water method and the not recommended microwave method. You can also look for "milk frother".

I mix my DIY in a 100ml beaker. I use the hot water and milk frother method. I put the beaker in a shallow bowl with about an inch of hot water in it and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then I froth it 3 times. I let it return to a clear state in between. Then I bottle it. These were clear when I mixed them up and this is what they look like after 8 days. With twice a day "burping" in between.

Instead of keeping my liquid in a dark closet for weeks is there any way to steep it quicker? Waiting weeks is tedious and you will need to make lots of extra liquid to keep you going for the time it takes for your liquid to steep.

I found that the ultrasonic cleaner has worked fantastic for me.
I used purchased the same model that dannyv45 uses and it works like a charm. I do 1 hr in the ultrasonic then let breath and rest overnight then repeat then next day and it's better than 7/10 days steeping!!

Taste it and if it's good right off the bat vape it. If not and you feel it needs to steep (Tobaccos and cream mixes benefit the most from a good steep) then give it a hot water bath in an ultrasonic cleaner or crock pot for a few hours. If you have some already steeped add 10 - 20% of it to a new batch and it will steep in a few days just sitting around (Called seed steeping). If it taste like real crap then usually any amount of steeping will not help. Usually the mix percentages need to be adjusted up or down. If after adjusting it and it still taste like crap then it will be a real treat for your drain.

I use a method that I found here in a couple of different threads. It works really well, especially since modern crockpots have to be watched, since they will get too hot.

Here's probably the clearest directions: But I Don't Wanna...

Rice steeping-

Pour some dry (uncooked) white rice in a bowl. Make sure it is enough to "bury" your bottles in with just their tops showing.

Remove the bottles from this rice and place this rice in the microwave for about 3 minutes (adjust to your unit). It will be HOT!

Carefully insert your bottles into the rice - up to their necks.

Let them sit here until everything is back to room temp. Repeat as desired.

For me I usually mix in the evening, put the bottles in the hot rice (I keep a container of rice just for this, so I don't need to keep doing the measuring) drape a couple of dish towels over the container so it will maintain the heat even longer and leave overnight. The rice holds the temperature a lot longer than water will.

For me natural steeping is the best. Another method is using a large mouth thermos. Heat water to 150 degree pour it into your thermos add bottle close the thermos. I like to shake it before I put it in and maybe once a hour. If your going on a long road trip make a batch and bring with you to grandma's house it will be ready when you get there.

My method is 90 minutes in the UC at 140 degrees and then 90 minutes on the orbital shaker.
Let sit with top open for 30 minutes, done.

95% of all of my recipes are at the 95% or greater steeped point using my method.
