Please let us know how it goes.
FT is not the same place as it was 2 months ago...they have many customer service and shipping issues now..I believe U will see a big change in how they ship and do business coming soon...they are even considering not selling any batteries at all in the future..
And did you know that immediately after that cluster hump went into effect they started shipping ALL LOOSE [batteries inside containers aka eGo batts, and/or sealed units like the MVP2 and iTaste VV V3...yadda yadda aren't subject to the rule] battery orders thru China Post which then are loaded in a conex box, dropped on a ship, and then paddled across the Pacific to California? The stuff we buy at fasttech are from China but shipped from Hong Kong, which is under a totally different government system than China. The reason why batteries take so long or might not even reach the states is because it is prohibited to send batteries thru airmail from Hong Kong postal. I ordered a k101 from fasttech and it spent over 3 weeks in the HK post office but once it got thru customs inspection it only took about 4-5 days and arrived at my door step.
Now I know this sounds silly but when I got the package, the label on the package in Chinese states that the sender understands that it is prohibited to send batteries or battery included devices. I also called fasttech once and they told me they know package with batteries often get sent back to them. Fasttech is aware that those package might not make it thru due to the regulations but they do it anyway. So i guess it's all up to how lucky you are.

Once again...the lies/falsehoods/disinformation need to stop!
Make it a point to order non battery items, THEN order battery items so they get put into two different packages...then pay that extra $.40-.50 to have the non battery stuff shipped thru airmail (however there is a VERY long wait time as all packages are x-rayed for batteries at HKP airmail [to be returned to shipper if found])
This appears to be new
Hongkong Post - Notices - Guidance on Posting of Outbound Air Mail Items
No more paying the extra few cents for HKP...going straight thru with the "freebie" 30+ days "slow boat" option
Pass the word...but please PASS THE TRUTH!
And told you it's not ONLY FT that is getting hammered!
