I've got a couple of twists from fasttech that seem to be stuck in Singapore, hopefully they will make it through eventually. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the fact that they're batteries though, the same thing happened to me when I ordered some evods. I got a refund, thanks to fasttech's great customer service, but I'm still pretty bummed out. But until this whole thing blows over (unless it doesn't) I wouldn't order any batteries from fasttech :(

I only buy batteries from domestic vendors that I trust. I have bought a lot of stuff from FastTech, but I won't buy batteries from them.

I understand that the batteries we use are made in Asia. I don't have a problem with that. What I do worry about is the integrity of the supply chain between the manufacturers of the batteries I want and the vendor who sells them to me. I have complete confidence that the vendors I buy from get their batteries from the real manufacturer. With FastTech, I don't have the same confidence and the peace of mind is worth the extra price.

FT is not the same place as it was 2 months ago...they have many customer service and shipping issues now..I believe U will see a big change in how they ship and do business coming soon...they are even considering not selling any batteries at all in the future..

I'm not a FT fanboy, but In there defense, all the changes at HKP have probably caused their CS department to be somewhat overwhelmed.

And quite frankly, unless they had existing contracts to fulfill with battery and juice suppliers, I think they should have stopped selling those as soon as the trouble started.

The stuff we buy at fasttech are from China but shipped from Hong Kong, which is under a totally different government system than China. The reason why batteries take so long or might not even reach the states is because it is prohibited to send batteries thru airmail from Hong Kong postal. I ordered a k101 from fasttech and it spent over 3 weeks in the HK post office but once it got thru customs inspection it only took about 4-5 days and arrived at my door step.
Now I know this sounds silly but when I got the package, the label on the package in Chinese states that the sender understands that it is prohibited to send batteries or battery included devices. I also called fasttech once and they told me they know package with batteries often get sent back to them. Fasttech is aware that those package might not make it thru due to the regulations but they do it anyway. So i guess it's all up to how lucky you are.

And did you know that immediately after that cluster hump went into effect they started shipping ALL LOOSE [batteries inside containers aka eGo batts, and/or sealed units like the MVP2 and iTaste VV V3...yadda yadda aren't subject to the rule] battery orders thru China Post which then are loaded in a conex box, dropped on a ship, and then paddled across the Pacific to California?

Once again...the lies/falsehoods/disinformation need to stop!

Make it a point to order non battery items, THEN order battery items so they get put into two different packages...then pay that extra $.40-.50 to have the non battery stuff shipped thru airmail (however there is a VERY long wait time as all packages are x-rayed for batteries at HKP airmail [to be returned to shipper if found])

Damn, didn't know that they shipped thru china. The only reason I got a battery was because I ordered a k100 kit. I just ordered another mod from them a few days ago with no battery. Hopefully it won't take long.

WARNING THE FOLLOWING IS PERSONAL OPINION NOTHING MORE

Having watched the shipping mess from Fasttech for the last couple of months my personal take on it (an how I am functioning).

Ordering batteries either loose cells (like 18650s, 18350s etc) is not something I am willing to risk. There seems to be quite a few packages caught up in the mess and some really confusing results about reshipment or refund.

Ordering contained batteries like MVP or EGOs. Its a crapshoot. It seems like MOST are getting through eventually but I have heard of some being sent back and caught in the mess.

Other stuff seems to be generally getting through though it is taking longer. My last order with no batteries or juice sat at Hong Kong post for 6 days, San Fran for 2 days, then another 2 days to my house.

I currently have a $15 credit from something I returned. I will be putting in an order of non battery stuff to use it up then I am done ordering from Fasttech until this mess sorts itself out. There are other options out there.

So no no no on batteries thru China Post...I was wrong!!!!!

Looks like USPS might be the way to go...but it's a crap shoot
