I'm thinking about the evic too.

I wasn't too impressed with the firmware 1.0 reviews I saw but 1.2 looked interesting.
I don't like the ring instead of buttons but I don't have a cell phone and I really want to be able to look at my ecig to tell someone the time like cell phone people do :)

I wouldn't touch the evic with a laser pointer but to each their own :p

Myk, the NCR's are amazing :) and i know they don't get much praise around here but the Ultrafire 18350 are great for the price too :)

Any battery with "fire" is not recommended. Stick with Panasonic 18650s (I have CGRs) on fast tech, look elsewhere at this point for 18350 and 18490/500.

Yeah, i have my pannies, but bought a pair of the ultrafire 18350 i mean, 2.50 each and they work maybe not as well as recognized brands but good enough for me.

We're already on 1.3 update... I've had it for a couple of months already. I love the ability to use it as a passthrough while it charges, plus it's light enough as a carryon. Shame I go through 2 18350 a day, I'd love an 18500 tube to use these $11.18 Authentic Sanyo UR18500FK 18500 1700mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (2-Pack) 2-pack - min capacity 1620mAh / 18.30*49.4mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I really don't care much about the settings. I just turn it on, vape on it, and check the ohms of particular atty. Nice is the customizable display, you can have the hour, number of puffs, time and date or atty ohms. It's a great PV, I like the weight, so light!

What's worse is that tempts me to get the eVic since I'm back to $1000 ahead. But I'm really trying to hold off further expenses until they don't put me below $1000. But I will bookmark that, thanks.

facing the same problem and FT is tempting a lot:vapor:
and in India a pack of analogs costs $2.5.it will take atleast 8-9 months to cover them:)

What I didn't like about early firmware was all the clicking to get out of the menu, and it not autodetecting coils. But moving the clock to the front is what sold it, at least at FT's price.
I originally thought the puff counter would be good, but I'm not planning on quitting or cutting nicotine and along with that, vaping isn't on my list to go. So that would just be a curiosity thing.

I never get my Twist above 4 volts so I don't think I would notice the volt limit.

Burlingame is on the same bay as San Fran and Oakland. 3 of us mentioned ours being there in this thread so it may mean they have replaced San Fran.

Mine also went through Burlingame

Yeah guys i LOVE my evic. I was happy at 1.2, but i love the stealth mode with 1.3 even more. It doesnt throttle like the Vamo and a lot of other mods ive used do, its just a nice smooth solid vape every time. And like above, its super lightweight. It feels like it could float away with the 18350 and an Evod

EDIT: And its mighty sexy with that velvety red evod filled with strawberry cheesecake! Got it for 55 bucks on the classies and even beat the FT price (with ego upgrade black tube, o rings, 2 18350s and an 18650, and charging cable) Had to repair the 510 since the only thing that worked was my protank (#60 oring is perfect) and its been glued to my face ever since.

Update on the SVDs - fasttech have confirmed they are "genuine Innokin" even though the name "Innokin" was removed from the product page. They also said the SVDs are in "short supply". They have just had 100 SVDs arrive which will fill orders made on 4 June. They are suppose to be getting 700 more SVDs in to fill peoples orders after 4 June in the next three days.
They obviously took a lot of orders without having the stock. So I'm still waiting an d its over 5 business days for me. Will give them a few more days to actually ship the SVD.

Oops! I wanted one! the name was removed? Would it be the real thing? I'd rather not buy a knockoff, don't matter the price. I'm waiting for my credit card limit to appear, so I have a few days wait.

The name was removed due to a fight with Innokin over FT undercutting the minimum retail pricve. However FT assures me they are genuine Innokin. I believe them on that. You'll need to wait anyway - they are out of stock and haven't even filled orders made since 4 June.
